Harden slipped and that was the difference. Harden rising for the first clutch three, and the second three to win the game, makes me excited. he wants it.

With 1 timeout left I thought MDA should've called it. Then we advance and might've had a chance to crash the boards.

Wrong....Roberson didn't sell out to try to block like he has (successfuly) before to avoid the foul.

Again - what post to play gets you something appreciably better?

    Nothing. That's the answer.

Aside from Lou Will and a couple of so-so games from Gordon and Anderson, I thought the Rockets supporting cast was awful tonight. Capela and Nene were complete nonfactors, Beverley was a trainwreck and Ariza has been completely horrible this entire series. Meanwhile, the Thunder got a monster game out of Gibson, and they got a little something out of everyone else. Literally every player on their team made at least two field goals and shot at least 40 percent from the floor.

Let's see those results happen again...

why the hell would you want to go to OT? bev fouled out, and james had 5 fouls. go for the throat, go for the win, suck their damn souls out. you got the best player in the NBA not named LeBron you trust him to do whatever he wants to do. we will be fine, OKC played their best game, shot ridiculous from the field/3 even when we played good defense, and it all came down to james missing a 3 that he was stroking all night.

The team played terrible defense, lazy ball management, yet still had a shot to win the game.....OKC is not good enough.

I will live with that shot every day of the week.

Bev and Ariza 2/15 shooting. Aint happening again this series

OKC just had everything go for them this game and yet we were right there.

Why would d'antoni not call a timeout? doesn't he lead the league in scoring after a timeout?

Get rid of Ariza and Ryno this offseason.

Absolutely pathetic. I'd rather play Dekker and Montrezl and I think very very lowly of them as well.

true on most counts, but i said it before he did it that he would settle for iso 3's and they wouldn't go in. the thunder knew it, too and that's the problem. a drive makes them panic and you probably get a wide open 3 or maybe the drive works out and you get a 2 or foul (not that it's a guarantee or anything). and then after the first one you force yourself into the second one. i know he knows how to make big 3's but i'd rather have OT as the better team than try to win when roberson is right in your face. notice how roberson didn't even flinch like harden might drive because he knew harden was gonig for the win.

Harden missed the Win by 2 or 3 inches. Hard to argue with that.

    (That's what she said...)

Sucks to lose to one shot, but I'm not worried. Rockets shot way below their standards (38-83), OKC way above theirs (46-83) - still 2 points game.

Get the win on Sunday and wrap it up at home.

Ignoring everything that happened before the last play, I have zero problem with that shot. It would have been so sweet if he made that.

I understand why Harden took the 3. Rockets on the road, Bev fouled out and Harden had 5 fouls. However, the 3 he took when they were only down by 3 with a minute left was uncalled for as he was way off balance and getting it within 1 would have been the better play.

What killed it though was that shot clock turnover where they held the ball for whatever reason (down by 3)

Nobody cares about the line ... but ...

Harden's 44-point night came on less than half the number of shots that Westbrook took to get 51 in Game 2.

Just something to consider when you weight the efficiency of the two players.

I'd be surprised. That was their best game and they barely won. We can still play a lot better. In fact, OKC has outplayed us for most of this series it feels like, we play good in spurts and they don't have the scoring to come back.

They couldn't miss tonight, I tend to trust the averages. They will have another game where they gone stone cold and we have yet to see a game where we get hot.

It's no longer an excuse when you play lazy every game. Honestly no more excuses why can't we just 110 percent the whole game instead of ****ing around for the first half
