ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Thunder 4/21/2017 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

I thought the momentum shifted our way when we went up 2. Can't believe how quickly they pushed it back up to 10

Oof. That 6 point swing kind of hit me in the gut. I'm on a diet too so that could be it.

Time to put in the calvary. Ego, Lou, James, Capela, and throw in Ryno and shoot him up with animal steroids.

 

We need to go deeper into our bench to see if we have a little more of something so we don't get down early in these games

 

Okc just keeps hitting shots they don't usually make

 

Even though that shot won't count, I hope just seeing the ball go through the hoop boosts Lou's confidence and gets him going. Lose the battle, win the war type thing.

I'm not a kneejerk guy, but it's hard to imagine we win this game. Like really hard to imagine it. Then again we did win game 6 in LA, but that was Brewer and Josh Smith magic lmao.

Man, we need to bring it during game 4. I'm already focused on Sunday and this sucks. Ugh.

 

yeah i'm pretty sure when i wanted okc to beat golden state last year and they left him wide open he didn't shoot 50+% on 3's. 24% 3 point shooters don't hit half of their 3's. they just don't. when you are 24% that is so bad that people literally just don't guard you and you can still only hit 24%. and yet this fool is draining 3's right in people's faces.

 

Yeh but were doing neither.

Well that was a pathetic half of a quarter.

Can't expect them to start missing 3s when nearly every single one they take is wide open.

I'd love to throw Troy out there and see what he can give us. He sure as hell cant shoot worse than the majority of our perimeter players right now.

Roberson is playing like Ariza should be

 

we are having so many problems defending this below average OKC offense...giving up 93 points at the end of 3 quarters to that team in a playoff game is just unacceptable

another issue is that we're just not making enough threes...OKC has made the same number of threes that we have tonight

we need to be destroying them from beyond the arc, and we haven't done that all series

 

They've had an answer for every run of ours so far. Need a big lift in the last!

 

Westbrook trusting his trash teammates was the worst thing to happen to the Rockets.
