All he can hit is mid-range 2's . An inefficient shot that is going the way of the dinosaurs . Of course he is obsolete
Yet, he may still lose this game and the series. The most valuable player of a losing team is a LOSER, period!
He is what he is. He's very good, he deserves the MVP, but Harden just deserves it more. In the game tonight OKC couldn't score except for Westbrook, then when Westbrook couldn't score, their team couldn't make it. If the NBA voters are consistent they will give the MVP to Harden because of his wins. I don't expect them to be consistent. But that doesn't really matter. What matters are the wins.
Russell Westbrook is single-handedly losing this series for the Thunder. One of the worst, most-selfish, silly, immature performances I've ever seen a professional play tonight.
Funny you've used the same adjectives in the past to describe Harden This game should show you that Harden has a far superior BBALL IQ than WB. Take that to the bank, kiddo
You will not find a post ever from me where I equate Harden to Westbrook. Harden is flawed. But Westbrook is a lost cause. I have always very clearly stated that Harden is the far superior player. It's not even close in my book. Although I have similar complaints about both, Westbrook is in a league of his own when it comes to stupid selfishness. I still have hope that Harden will modify his game to accommodate winning a championship. I have no such hope for Westbrook. And Harden is the better player to begin with. If I were Presti I'd be on the phone with Magic on draft night trading Westbrook to the Lakers. And crossing my fingers that I could get Magic and Pelinka to take him for picks and talent.
