to be honest if a shooter is really good and you don't notice hes there the entire game then he did his job. If you noticed he's there then he's not doing his job because that means he's wide open and he's not hitting his shots and the defense is leaving him open

what did you expect? It's the playoffs and right from the start they came out and played Ryan Anderson very tight. Usually that's when you can get your shooters open early but the thunder game planned to take it away

he did a great job of getting on the boards.

 

Yeah...I just cant emphasize this enough.

Kanter just CANNOT defend anyone, perimeter or paint.

And he is their only threat in the post on offense.

So when he is in the game, we just need to make a conscious effort to attack the paint.

Not only will we score easy points doing so but OKC will be forced to take him out of the game, and thus remove their only post threat.

 

Harden just said that he doesn't care about the MVP race... now that the votes are in

its good he didn't give them any bulletin board material.

Not just that, OKC last year lost game 1 to the Spurs by 32, and ended up owning the Spurs 4-1 from there. Just one game.

Too late to change the MVP vote but at least it will feel good to watch the trashing of the Westbrook MVP narrative.

 

Ryan Anderson had 12 rebounds!...I know he didn't make a 3, and finished with 4 points, but if he can get double digit rebounds every game of this series, we could really sweep them

Yeah, he wasn't even looking his way a few times when he was wide open. We will need those shots against the tougher teams, so hopefully this was a one game thing. For James to only have 2 turnovers and 3 steals though is a very positive sign for a playoff game. For us to blow them out without our 3pt shooting is great! Battling Bev was my favorite player to watch tonight. I love Pat's energy and fight! I've been saying all year Pat needs to take more shots and stop throwing the ball to everyone else. It was great seeing him take more shots tonight. I knew he had it in him to score like that!!!!!

The refs need to do a better job calling dirty plays though!!! Talk about turning a blind eye to the elbow in Clint's mouth and the body slam of Beverley by Adams and his lowering of the shoulder. You can't tell me that's just letting them play! Ridiculous!!!

Nothing will make me happier than to just sweep this team and move on up in the playoffs!!!!!!!! Go Rockets!!!

 

Steven A has been a big Harden supporter this year, and he absolutely loves Bev. He'll say a lot of great things, while Max will ignore whatever the question is and repeat "Lebron is the real MVP."
