on NBATV earlier tonight before the game, Peter Vecsey was on as a guest. He was talking about several teams; who he thought will win tonight...ect.

the rox were braught up, and he said that yesterday the nuggets rejected an offer made by us.

our proposed trade would've sent E.Griff, mooch, and boki to denver and we wouldve recieved camby and some other cap filler guard (trapagnier? {sp?}).

take what you want from this. i don't believe it because i don't feel like it helps us. what we need is an assist man comming off the bench.

you may not belive it because its Vescey :p , but its not like he said they are just talking about it, because thats his usual bullsh!t. he said there was an actual offer made and rejected.

If Vescey said it, rest assured it won't happen.

Seems like whenever anything was mentioned by Peter Vecsey, it's most likely not true. Somehow I've got the impression not just from this site, but from other articles/news as well.

Well, one thing's clear, the Rockets ARE trying to trade.

This is the 2nd rumour we've heard. I think the Rockets are trying to make something happen, and will get something done soon.

Maybe its just that we are doing OK at PF, and so now Griffin is tradeable. So you package that tiny contract with Mooch's contract, and throw in 1M or 2M from the exception, and we might actually get one good player back.

i'm glad that they're trying to get rid of EG and Mooch. they're our two biggest liabilities. boki, well...he's expendable.

just one decent player for these bums would make a trade worth-while.

Is it really that much of a stretch that the Rockets want to get rid of EG, who, more than anything, is a distraction? Especially with Van Gundy's no nonsense approach? They'd absolutely love for someone to take him for his "potential," as we once did.

I personally stilll think Cat is on the block. I could be wrong and i think he's a good player, but i think when Pike gets healthy and the season progresses,Cat might be gone. With Indy in need of a 2nd scorer or 2 guard and a abundance of sf's, i would try to get Harrington and give up Cat then move Jackson to the 2 and have Pike,Nachbar,Taylor,Norris and Griffin off the bench. It may not happen, but i think it would really benefit the Rockets and Indy.

No way?.... it might not happen? I thought every trade idea that someone here thinks up happens in the real NBA. And I also think that Indiana would love to trade away a talented young big man for the type of player they just took in the first round...

Firstly, Vecsey USED to be the man, the most piped-in NBA writer of them all. Somewhere along the way he lost his sources, his sources began feeding him silly stuff to make him look bad, he got lazy or whatever. Something.

Secondly, Mooch to Denver? To play ahead of Dre and/or Earl 'the little pearl' Boykins? Boki to rejoin Skita? Maybe that, but Mooch to Denver? Come on.

Anyways..that trade stated by Vescey would be pretty good for the Rockets! We get rid of Moochie! But..Camby kinda sucks. Didn't he used to play for JVG? Trepagnier sucks too..

Peter Vecsey is about as reliable as Hoopsworld. He's a joke and if he says there was rumor out then it's not true.

The only reason why Mooch is getting any playing time is because we are showcasing Moochie's "talents" for everyone to be used as trade bait. That's the only logical reason I can think of. Either that or he must be pulling alot of MonicaLewinskies to get that much PT. At this rate, we'd be lucky if we could get some peanuts for him.
