Just for trade speculations would you do this?????

Houston trades: PG Steve Francis (21.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 6.2 apg in 41.0 minutes)
PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 20.6 minutes)
Houston receives: SF Jalen Rose (22.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.8 apg in 40.9 minutes)
    C Tyson Chandler (9.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.0 apg in 24.4 minutes)
PG Jamal Crawford (10.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 4.2 apg in 24.9 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +12.6 ppg, +3.7 rpg, and +2.8 apg.

Chicago trades: SF Jalen Rose (22.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.8 apg in 40.9 minutes)
    C Tyson Chandler (9.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.0 apg in 24.4 minutes)
PG Jamal Crawford (10.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 4.2 apg in 24.9 minutes)
Chicago receives: PG Steve Francis (21.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 6.2 apg in 81 games)
PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 67 games)
Change in team outlook: -12.6 ppg, -3.7 rpg, and -2.8 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

There were BYC players involved in this trade, so this trade is subject to the BYC provisions of the CBA. Due to Houston and Chicago being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Chicago had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

why don't we give this team a chance to gel. there are a lot of unknowns and variables at play here. other than griffin punching his own ticket, I think there's lots of potential. I personally like the doubt factor.

I would do that deal in half of a second just to get Tyson Chandler.

    Yao Ming 7'6" center
    Tyson Chandler 7'2" power forward

Kelvin Cato can move back to the bench backing up both.

Plus you want us to have Jalen Rose?

    Jamaal Crawford
    Jim Jackson
    Jalen Rose
    Tyson Chandler
    Yao Ming

I would go with that line-up any day. Plus I get to have Cat and Cato off of the bench.

There is only one problem with this trade...Chicago would not do it.

Hasn't the Griffin Potential failure taught you people anything?

Right now, we have one of the most dynamic teams in the league. It's got size, speed, quickness, and acrobatics. And someone wants to trade all that nucleus for POTENTIAL. I'm tired of rebuilding! Let's go to war with the troops we have now.

Sure, Chandler next to Yao is very enticing, but come on!! If you go for that trade, then this team will have to wait another 2 or 3 years to be in a position to challenge for a playoff spot. Chandler only has his moments at times.

    Win now baby!!!

Trade Francis and Taylor. Youre crazy.
Stop talking about trades that will never happen. Rockets have a good team right now.

Tyson Chandler is going to be a star in this league. He has both the talent and the desire to be successful. I wish that Yao could be as aggressive as Chandler is on the board.

But trading Steve for Rose (bad contract + ballhog) and Crawford (a SHOOTING guard)? No way!!

Maybe you have missed it but Chandler already looks better than Cato. That is not a knock at Cato at all but Chandler is averaging...

    13 pts
    18 rebounds
    2.7 blocks

I don't think we would have to wait at all for Chandler to develope. He is certainly going to get better but he is already damn good.

Of course there really is no point to this discussion since Chicago would not trade him for anyone on our team except maybe Yao MIng.

I don't know what everyone is b****ing about, this trade is great. It is 10x better than all of the Mobley+Griffin for Michael Redd type trades that have been popping up lately. Crawford would be fine running the offense, Rose would solidify our SF spot, and Chandler would be great for our Starting PF. 7'5" Yao and 7'2" Chandler would be a great twin towers pair.
