Like I initially said. Mobley is one heluva player. And as he has said repeatedly, he can take anyone off the dribble in the NBA.

    True!! He can.

But Steve does have that stop and pop shot that has been so good for him.

And as you said, the illegal defense was obvious, but the Refs weren't going to call it. That is the complaint with the Refs on the current other threads.

The Rockets had options. And as good as Mobley is, he was being tripple teamed. Amazing as it was he did make some of those shots. But then he went cold.

Steve Fracis never went cold. He just stopped shooting. And Walt Williams was definatley wide open down the streatch.

All my argument is, diversify the offense down the streatch. Francis has enormous amounts of talent that could have been utilized to help this team that are going to waste.

It's all synergy. The sum of the parts is greater than the individual parts made to compose it. This in turn means that if the Suns tought that Francis could be a threat, Mobley would only be dealing with a double team and not at triple team. In turn synergy. The Rockets could have won and should have won.

that is the Reason everyone is so upset and disillusioned.

    Hey Partner, peace!

Mobley did not go cold. His shots were right on the money. Francis wouldn't even get off shots that good in the end. Besides, our crunch time is all about breaking down the defense, which Mobley clearly continued to do.

I wouldn't make a big deal about an illegal defense no call, but that was two players doing it. The Suns were in a zone. That was not just one person stepping over the line for a second count. Googs was planted in the middle of the lane.

And Walt's arm was grabbed at the rim and yanked down by Rogers. I have the tape to proove that one. Sickening.
