Yeah. The Rockets need to come out like Hulk Hogan with Kevin Nash/Scott Hall and drop the Leg Drop on Macho Man. In the process going from Hulk Hogan to "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, thus forming the New World Order. So basically, Harden = Hogan. When the Rockets beat the Thunder, Harden needs to spray paint (in black) MVP on the back of his jersey and leave it in the middle of the court in OKC.
Maybe, but we can only assume that. Even mainstream news outlets report their own perception of things. But ESPN doesn't even hit that level of good intentions. As an ESPN sports "analyst" your job is essentially to: 1. try and quantify/justify ideas, 2. use those findings to generate attention (views, clicks, engagement). Within that mission there are lots of reasons why objectivity isn't in your best interest. Even the scientific method requires a hypothesis, except sports "analysts" can't really go out and perform double-blind experiments. So instead they just go gather whatever stats and information reinforce their hypothesis. Rinse, repeat.
The villain role worked for the Bad Boys of Motown years back.... As i've said for the last few years... this isn't a real 'likable' team... and Harden in particular... People on here wanna blow all that off as moot and doesn't matter... fine, then quit b****in like children cause nobody wants to be our friend... lol
I can picture it now, RWO. Jesus, if we had Reddick on this team we could turn heel fast. I mean really fast. He is a free agent next year...
I know what he means though - when we're playing as well as we are ESPN won't just ignore us. That would be absurd. They cover us just as much as they have to
