    Play the starters like normal in the first half and into the 3rd quarter, then no matter what the score the bench finishes.

    If he gets hurt (twists an ankle, re-aggravates the wrist, etc) on the last game of the season in a meaningless game right before the playoffs this board is going to MELTDOWN and the main comment that will be talked about over and over will be WHY WAS HE IN THERE AT ALL IN A MEANINGLESS GAME?

    Not gonna lie, I do that. But my overarching philosophy is, you can't be an athlete worrying about getting hurt. You just don't go into a game thinking like that. You play and enjoy every game without reservation.

    I'm taking Mrs. 2000 to the game tonight. Wanna see Jim get the points produced record early, then ride the pine. Wanna see Bobby shoot lights out. Wanna see some underhand free throws. Wanna see a souvenir beer in my hand. Wanna see a Rockets victory!

    To set a record that has never been achieved before is meaningless?
    If Harden achieves that 2000/600/900 milestone, it will likely stand for many years to come.
    I'd rather see a Houston Rocket immortalized in the record books over a 2nd round playoff loss any day.
    As a fan, I'm willing to risk him playing.
    We don't know how far we will advance in the playoffs. But we DO know that James has the chance to achieve a
    VERY SIGNIFICANT milestone by playing tonight.
    I'm guessing IF we make it to WCF, we're fodder for GSW anyway.
    Which is actually more meaningful as a fan? A Houston Rocket immortalized in the record books?
    Or ANOTHER 4-1 beatdown at the hands of Draymond Green? (IF we even make it to the WCF)
    I say, GO FOR IT JAMES!

    I think James and the Rockets knows though, maybe that's why he's jacking up a lot of 3s lately, just to avoid contact in the paint.

    How Harden finishes may have left some lasting impressions so in whichever minutes he gets, Harden better play aggressive and put up big numbers. Hopefully a triple double with a statline of 102/30/30

    So, Rubio asked to not play? He's shooting .402 and would fall below 400 with 3 misses. Guess he's afraid.

    actually was hoping he would, since he likes that Elbow Jumper that Westbrook shoots off PnR. Would be good practice for the defense to take away that look.

    Loving this urgency! What a way to start heading into the postseason!!

    These kind of moments are the ones that make me forget the media BS, the losses, and take pride in knowing that this team has the ability to ball beautifully.
