Obviously we won more playoff series with Harden. But all those series were in 1 year and we are 1 and done every other year we been to the playoffs under Harden including the time we blew a series to Portland when we clearly had the better team...

we had Jeremy Lin handling the ball for that Portland series

Amazing that anyone could think tmac is in the same stratosphere as Harden. Mac's best years were in Houston imo and he NEVER won a playoff series. It honestly blows my mind that he made the hall of fame. There is no player in the history of basketball that I can think of that did so little with so much.

Harden is literally better at every single aspect of basketball. EVERYTHING mac excelled at, Harden does exponentially better.

Say what you want about him, he motivated the team to the WCF. Sometimes it's not Xs and Os

Jeremy Lin wasn't the reason we lost that series though. Our 3 point defense and transition defense that season had been weak all year and was on full display in our 1st round exit. We blew 2 double digit 4th quarter leads at home because of those 2 things. Such a shame though because that team was good enough to make a decent run...but then again we might be stuck with Parsons because of it. So I guess it is what it is.

I'd like to see you go down on Harden. You're nearly there

Tmac had the shittiest teams. Sura, barry, bowen, ward, head, Strickland, Rafer, jim jackson, stromile, bonzi, Juwan, etc. lol all of those dudes were starters at some point. Something you arrogant minded Harden lovers seem to forget.

It must hurt you to see the Rockets and Harden blowout OKC you dirty stinky Mavs fan. Deep down you were hoping for a Rockets L, so you could come out here and gloat.

But now, you are nowhere to be seen chicken Lawrence :D

That's the bigger issue here. His prime (in Houston) lasted about 24 months, and even in that, he couldn't rise in the playoffs and will his team to victory. You can make excuses all you want, but ZERO first round victories is pretty damning for ANY player...... especially a HOFer.

C'mon Peter man.. please, CD was terrible, his best acquisition those first 2 years was Mike freakin James, and Jon Barry. So Yao makes HOF is beloved by everyone but Tmac gets the blame. Wasn't this Yao's team before he got here? YEAH.

Don't get me wrong. I loved T-Mac when he was here......and trying. The problem is that he allowed himself to get dejected way too easily, and let it show in his leadership. Then, when it was nut-cutting time and he injured his back during the playoff run with Artest and Yao, instead of bucking up and showing that he's still mentally engaged for his teammates, he freaking goes on ESPN or TNT as a guest and picks AGAINST THE ROCKETS. I've never seen that in my entire 34 years of watching sports. He was still an active member on this team, and he picks the Lakers in a 7 game series. Seriously, just for that move alone (as well as the fact that he never has anything good to say about this current Rockets squad), he's always going to be a back-stabbing b**** in my book.
