    just rest harden...really is a pointless game for the rox....the nugs are gonna go all out in this game trying to make the playoffs with the blazers dropping 2 in a row. i really don't want to see any of our players getting hurt cause the other team is playing extra hard playoff basketball.

    If Harden lose MVP, it's almost pointless season.

    I see zero chance we get Championship.

    at this point in time...i don't see harden winning mvp over RW....

    RW performance has just been crazy...i think he deserves it just as much as Harden if not more

    IMO, the team should go all out in the playoffs, see how far we can go, what pieces are missing and a deep playoff run might be a good sign for potential free agents.

    Nah I think Harden will still win it. Has a 6th seed ever won mvp?

    The triple double average trumps the seedings. Unless Memphis has a late season surge and OKC a late season collapse and they switch positions in the standings, I think too many voters are willing to overlook the 6th seed factor.

    Might have to watch the Cleveland Boston game tonight on the big screen and keep the Rockets on the phone or laptop.

    All depends if Harden plays. Harden plays, win. Harden doesn't, lost.

    The Thunder are sixth in the West, but have the 10th best record overall. I think this is more important since it is a league wide award, not just a conference award. That is an absolutely terrible record for a MVP candidate. It would sent a bad precedent. But yeah, most of the "experts" are gonna be swayed by the triple-double.

    The Get Out of Jail Free card that the voters will play in future seasons when they go back to rewarding a player on a team with a great record will be that triple double average. Cuz no one else is likely to do that again for a very long time.

    Championship or bust is a pretty boring fan mentality. Sucks we won't win the championship, but this has been the most unexpectedly fun and great Rockets basketball season in a long time. Wouldn't call it pointless at all, or at least that's how I personally feel.

    Would be interesting to see Ben Simmons do it on a 6th seed in the East feeding Embiid with 76ers switching to a fast-paced offense to suit him. Then the media has to argue for a month whether Simmons deserves MVP...and all the contradictions come out.

    Harden was getting robbed MVP by Curry;
    Harden was getting robbed Scoring Title by Westbrook;
    Harden was getting robbed Allstar MVP by Westbrook;
    Harden will get robbed MVP again by Westbrook.

    Why always James Harden? SMH.

    Looks like he is playing tonight. Says wrist "is what it is". Sick of his selfish ways for not sitting his MVP case and hurting this team by being inefficient and risking more injury.
