From all sides, every game you'll see someone pop up with made-up criteria or saying “this game sealed the deal“ crap. It just doesn't stop.

Gotcha. Yeah that's annoying for sure. It's the same thing that happens from play to play in a game thread.

Without those uncontested rebounds, he'd be having a lesser season than Tiny Archibald and hardly anyone even brings up Tiny. Russell's a supped up Michael Adams. GOAT season....gtfo....people were sayin the same thing when Kobe scored 81 and averaged 35...I was like...MJ averaged 37 less than 20 years pror..Wilt averaged 50! People said the same thing recently when Curry had his crazy season.

The point is that people live in the moment, none more so than NBA and sports fans because of the media covering something constantly.

In time, people will see all low %'s and high turnovers and highest USG ever and al those uncontested rebounds and the mediocre team record with a roster that was all ranked better than any of Harden's teammates and they will realize it wasn't anything special other than a test of endurance.

The only thing that is good about this clutchfans westbrook/mvp obsession is that it has made us use our real eyes to realize these real lies in the media conspiracy

My favorite part is when TMac said "If I were James Harden,"

This is shaping up to be remembered as that year Westbrook won MVP from Harden, then watched Harden's Rockets dismantle the Thunder in the first round.

    I'll take that outcome.

Let's get on with a mini tourney after Harden and WB retire.

1 on 1 or 2 vs 2 against Mac, Scottie. Ultimate piss contest.

Mac, Scottie were not bad defenders once and have very good length.

To make it fair Harden and WB should get to their weight or shape now.

We need to get something out of this season. Championship is unlikely barring an injury. I want this MVP and feel like the 3-1 series record and the standing are the difference maker.

My gut feel is that Harden will have enough votes to edge out Russell. More wins, an impressive historical season, first year running as the PG aka toughest position to play, better advanced metrics and running a "high octane" team suited to his skillset.

Congratulations to T-Mac and Pippen, 2 hall of famers who led the Rockets to zero playoff series victories. It's perfect they are on ESPN together.

Ehh. He accomplished his goal by getting people to talk about his comments.

Besides most people on her thought Scottie was a genius last year when he hated on the warriors, and praised Tmac when he threw shade at Curry being the first unanimous MVP. Of course now they are complete idiots.

Greatest season to ever collect stats, yes, but not cracking 50 wins can't be "greatest" ever. That's just stupid. It's like you don't value winning at all. Wait, who said it? ohhhhhhhhhhh
