If the Rockets can beat the Clips, Warriors, AND the Suns, I will believe.

If the Rockets get in the playoff I believe they gets to the postseason - man ZRB! [IMG]

Btw this thread calculates a loss vs the Suns, but of course I belive they will show everybody that they belong and get the 7th seed with a 48-34 record (prediction from another thread that I will stick with).

    So:
    #06 Mavs
    #07 Rockets
    #08 Suns
    #09 Wolves
    #10 Sonics
    #11 Nuggets

Rockets can still fall to #10 but I believe chances are good for some postseason action. I can also see getting #6 but ...

I think its gonna be a close race from 6-10, but very close 7-9 in as I can see Sonics not being able to keep up, while Mavs, although with an ridicoulous schedule could pull of wins to stay a game or 2 out of #7

Lets bump this bad boy up to the top, just to make sure everything is going as expected.

BTW, the way I see things turning out, and I just did these this afternoon, and the only two games involved went as expected :

    Mavericks : 49 - 33
    Minnesota : 47 - 35
    Phoenix : 46 - 36
    Rockets : 49 - 33(Rocks win tiebreaker)

    ------------------
The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe.

I will continue to believe until the Rockets are mathematically eliminated.... and even then I will have my doubts that they won't be able to find some kind of loophole to allow them into the playoffs as alternates, or something... [IMG]

    EXACTLY RunninRaven.

    Wherefore can ye doubt? [IMG]

I just want in--of course I'd love to move up in the standings once we ARE in, but I just want in. Like when you're running a race--if you're a ways behind the leader, you don't look at the guy four spots ahead of you and think of how you're going to pass HIM. You look at who's directly in front of you, and you go from there. Unless you're racing a bunch of little kids, who can't possibly beat you in a race, whereas you can just trip them and laugh at their adolescent crying. Get up you little ****.

Anyways, though, I think Minnesota IS that team that is going to fall the farthest, and Phoenix not far behind them. One game at a time--oh BTW, has anyone else noticed that when Minnesota starts to lose, they REALLY start to lose? 2 in a row...let's start a trend here. The last time they lost two in a row they lost FIVE in a row.

    Let's go Rocks!!! [IMG]

Ok, bringing this back to look on the progress for all, and not team by team:

    Games until March 16.

*) I actually had calculated 2 losses from the east games - not 1 as I though earlier... my mistake

    Current #9: Rockets 32-27 [35-28]

    Games until March 16.

[Screw Sonics and Nuggets... they have fallen behind schedule... I have no time for them anyway... of to work... good luck tonight although if it is a loss, remember it is what I've calculated with for a season ending like this:

    Mavs 49-33
    Suns 49-33
    Rockets 49-33
    #9 Wolves 48-34

Had to bump this back up. According to Heath2000's prediction from earlier, the Rockets are still on schedule. I think this thread puts things somewhat in perspective.
