JJ 's the only one who really want to pass the ball to Yao when the big guy get him position low. The others are either not willing to or not be able to. Can you guys still remember who tried to do the same thing last season? Yes , Rice and Posey, and they both stayed no more than an single season on this team. So will JJ.:(

The reason Jim came as cheap as he did is because he wanted to be with a team for more than a year. He's a veteran that knows his role on the team...the Rockets need more of those.

I think Rice was here 2 seasons. He played part of 2002-2003 season here. I think he was injured the rest of the seaon.

JJ passed the ball to Yao because JVG's set calls for him to bein position to do so on a number of occastions; that very same set called for Steve to pass it to JJ.

How do you think JJ got the ball, it spontaneously generated in his hands?

BTW, JJ had a horrible game on Saturday, so I don't know why you're bragging on him

Just watched the first half againt the Bulls. I saw JJ assisted Yao more than any others on the team (3 times at least). Hope he can do it better in the second half (if JVC give me enough minutes).

I mean JJ knows how to lob the ball in to the big guy who settle down in the paint, when the guards just ridiculously throw the damn ball into air 100 feet high or bounce it to nowhere....
JJ happens to know how to do it.

It is very common in a center dominated offense for the SF to be the guy to feed the post. The SF is the best position to feed the post from and I personaly believe that having a star at the C and SF is the best combination for a championship. Although I do think that Boki has the potential to be the SF that we need to complement Yao based on his relationship with Yao and his shooting ability. The problem with Boki right now is he is a turnover machine and still seams to not be on the same page as the rest of the team. Of course if you look at it like he only has 3 games of real NBA experience he looks pretty good.

you probably did not see this game. But four plays in a row, francis just automaticly passed to yao. It was like it was automatic.

This thread is BS. He is probably the most unselfish guard on our team. Yes......he had one hell of a **** game against the griz. He is signed for 3 yrs i believe. He also gets in the faces of opponents and plays D......................
