I think the narratives have written themselves. Westbrook has had too many insane triple-doubles this season.

    50 point triple-doubles. The "perfect" triple-double.

Thunder are going to get 5th seed and possibly win 50 games.

The MVP is going to Westbrook.

    Who do you got?

Westbrook will win MVP and Rockets will enjoy a 1st round exit to Thunder.

I have been taking all comers on twitter on behalf of Harden. There are a *lot* of stupid people out there and many of them have votes for who will be MVP.

Harden will win and it won't even be close. We'll look back with a sigh of relief. ESPN will wonder "What Happened?"

Where is the LeBron James option? He is the best player in the National Basketball Association. He should win the Most Valuable Player award every year. Did you forget he won the 2016 NBA Finals down 3-1 to the 73 win Golden State Warriors? This site needs to learn to put some RESPECKT on the good name of LeBron James!

    I'm serious.

Watching SC now, SVP said if he had a vote he'd vote for Harden regardless of what Westbrook is doing lately.. also mentioned Westbrook is about to break Iverson's total shot of 1940 taken from '01 season by 37 this season. Iverson averaged 42mins that year, Westbrook 34mins.

Hopefully media takes into acct stuffs like that in regards to Westbrook's stat padding.

Russell Westbrook will win MVP!! I feel so bad for Harden..he deserves it not Westbrick! To many dumb voters don't watch the games to know the impact Harden has on the Rockets!! They see Westbrook has all these triple doubles...but they don't watch the games to see that he's stat padding to get those triple doubles. Absolute travesty!

Feel WB wins, both him and Harden are very deserving. Harden to me is the better player, but Westbrook's triple double leading scorer stat advantage will likely carry him.

Westbrick will win because voters are morons. Harden should win because he's the most valuable player....unfortunately that doesn't mater when it comes to the MVP award.

Was just talking to some impartial friends of mine a few minutes ago and they were both talking about how "Westbrook is the only person the Thunder has! He has to do everything!!!111". I was like, et tu brute?

Yea cuz the voters who will vote for him are dumb.. I honestly don't care about this whole MVP stuff for Harden anymore, just hope he focuses on leading us deeper into the playoffs.

MVP is a regular season award, there is literally no argument you can make for Lebron at this point to justify putting him first. If you go with Win and elevating his team it goes Kawhi/Harden, IT, Lebron, WB

If you go by stats it goes WB/Harden, Lebron, IT, Kawhi

Lebron also has a lot of negative arguments that people are using against Harden, such as "has too much help." Lebron is actually playing with 2 All stars (this year)

Lebron also has missed a bunch of game, and his team is on a major slide.

No one is questioning Lebron's greatness, but is out of the MVP race this year, should be top 5, though.

It would be crazy if they suddenly put an end to the trend they've been on for years where they give it to the best player on one of the best teams. Of course they would do that in a year where Harden is the clear cut leading candidate though.

    100% it's between James & Russell.
