What disappoints me is how nervous and plain out SCARED we play against the Warriors. It's not just the turnovers that bother me. It's the TYPE of turnovers and just lazy effort we have against them. We went like 4-5 possessions last nite where we just HANDED them the ball. Eric Gordon was going up court and just dribbles the ball of his shoe, Nene is under the rim and drops a pass he got from 2ft away (which lead to a Warriors 3 smh). The Rockets looked SHOOK almost every time they play GS and it baffles me. At times it appears Harden doesn't take these statement games serious. These type games are ones that carry over to playoffs

You're not going to out shoot them most nights so I think it will ultimately take a team that has a beast at center and nothing but shooters around him to beat them. You have to be able to run and shoot with them but also be able to slow things down and beat them up down low at times.

Don't forget that most of those losses came under the idiot coaches McFail and BJ Brewerstaff era

McFail sucks, One of the worst coaches ever and he had zero game plan against Kerr's Warriors. Basically roll the ball to Harden and let him decide what to do.

What is missing for Houston? Why they cannot beat warriors? Can we use the remaining money to buy new player to fix it?

Lol, Dwight has nothing to do with it, we were 3-1 against them his first year here. It's all about Kerr, he is a great coach and unlocked that team's potential.

    Their defense is too good.

Warriors are 4-5 against the Spurs in the Steve Kerr era. They've not met in the playoffs.

    The trend will continue.

They play the same offensive scheme and are better at it.

    AND they play defense.

Not only can Durant, Kerr, and Klay shoot the lights out from the perimeter but they are better than our shooters because they can create their own space. We only have Harden that can match the three and he is arguably the worst outside shooter when compared to any of them.

We are still too reliant on Harden to create for us, which means you can park the bus on our other threats. Much harder to do this against the Warriors.

But the biggest reason they will keep smacking us around is because of defense and Draymond Green.

They have Draymond at PF, who can shoot the threes and who can defend any position. He anchors their defense.

We have a cupcake at PF who when he is not making his outside shots is as useful as contact lenses on Stevie Wonder.

While Draymond Green carries their defense, Ryan Anderson single handedly destroys whatever defense we play.

Better offense, better defense, better shooters, more experience, just as young......

They are a step ahead defensively. They've got a key man that can both defend the paint as a small 5 but he can also defend outside and switch at the 4. They have the defensive model to deny and contest the same shots that they get on the offensive end. Everybody rise is playing catch up.

Offensively, they have more than one guy that can distribute. They have layers on offense. They are not Curry centric. They have multiple guys that can operate, create, pass, and finish off the dribble. And they take what the defense gives them. They don't force the ball to Curry. He didn't initiate everything although he could. And he's put up gargantuan numbers if they did. And they'd lose in the second or third round if everything ran through him.

Shooting is one thing and it's undoubtedly the most important offensive skill for a player to develop to make money. But for a team to win a championship they've got to have at least two or more great defenders (one perimeter and one interior), two great playmakers/creators/distributors, and three or more great shooters at the front end of their rotation working in a system designed to minimize long two ball shots.

The clippers killed us in the regular season for a couple of years but who took the L in our playoff series against them? Drop mike.

I think the better record to point out is that the MDA led Rockets are 1-2 against Kerr.

We can beat this team. Only adjustment i would do when we play a team like the warriors is replace dekker with harrel. Harrell was huge for us in the first game against them, a guy that can finish around the rim.

TL:DR rockets dont have enough talent, therefor they aren't built to beat the warriors.

So your strategy is: get better players, and we'll win more.

    Brilliant.

Step 1 to fake insider handbook. State an obvious fact like the one above. You could also use something like "in order to beat the Warriors in a series the rockets have to win more games against them then they lose". End your statement with a PERIOD and nobody will notice what you just did.
    Repeat step 1

Step 3 is the tricky part. This is where the fake insider inflates his own importance to the actual team itself. This is where you tell the fans they have to admire and respect rival teams even though it makes no difference in the outcome of the games whether they do or not. This is a good time to say stuff like "we should be studying them and figuring them out" even though many people within the rockets organization are doing just that. Step 3 is also a good time to call everyone else whiners even though the fake insider himself is often the biggest whiner out there.

If you say everything like a dick and with a condescending tone people will not realize all you did was state a couple obvious facts, said things like "period", insulted the fan base, told the fans what they "need" to admire and respect, and hinted that the rockets organization does not study the Spurs or the Warriors. Feel free to drop a YULE C and roll out
