Dude its sport, harden can come out next game with 1 minute and break everything. Check out andrew bogut, the dude played for 50 seconds and got season ending injury. If ur scared of getting hurt in sport, dont even play it in the first place.

He can just switch to shooting right-handed for a while. Then it'll feel like someone else is shooting.

True, and I see what you did there but the instability of "switching up" breaks the momentum and reverses the peak which leads to reverting back to "old habits", sort of like golf lessons.

So I know Harden has his pride but at what point do you protect him from himself?

Does anyone reeeeeeeeeeally expect Harden not to play, with the MVP vote probably thiiiiiiiiiis close?

Even then, the dude never takes games off. Maybe when we lock up the third seed he'll be forced to rest one game, but I still think that MVP contest will come into play. Unless it significantly worsens (God forbid) in the meantime.

Guys lets not break hardens rhythym.

He is extremely inspired right now. Itd be a shame to break that mentality by forcing him to sit just cuz a sore wrist

    It's for sure hurt .

As much as I admire hardens toughness , there is no need to play until that thing is 100% .

Playing on it hurt is gonna slow the recovery process , and risk worsening aggravating the injury .

Besides that risk , it's going to effect his shooting and possibly get him out of his rhythm .

James is proud , the coach needs to step in and make sure hubris isn't our downfall this year.

It's the organization's irrevocable responsibility to get James as healthy as we can for the playoffs. We need to force him to let the wrist heal .

The difference between a Healthy James and a hurting James can and will be winning and losing .

Should have had the week off. It's clearly bothering him (even with the trip dub...). He's not finishing as well nor does he have a shooting rhythm. Making it worse is my biggest fear and as an armchair doctor, I don't think playing on it will make it better.

Who cares about the rest of the regular season? Our season rests solely on the shoulders of Harden, and if that wrist isn't 100%, then why bother?

The Rockets do still need to clinch the 3rd seed. They probably do it simply with losses by Utah, but I don't think you shut down Harden just yet. Maybe after this road trip. I do think he should skip the game at Golden State on Friday though.

He looked like he was in real pain, unlike LEbron fake "SNIPER SHOT ME INJURY"

    REST HARDEN

James Harden was in the locker room with his left wrist wrapped in ice.
