Honestly that's how I read it.

 

Could say the same thing about the Dubs.... if they shot better, they would have had a mini blowout at their hand.

 

This game really shows that we're one allstar caliber player away from being a real championship team.

Lou will is the closet we got but he can't bring it consistently like we need.

We just need that guy that can consistently carry second actions after the ball comes out of Hardens hands.

If I'm a star player you gotta be thinking you could be the missing piece to making houston even par with golden state.

KD really would have been perfect here in this offense.

He would have won 3-4 chips here easy.

 

I do but beyond seeding, the regular doesn't mean crap and I'm tired of our team NOT winning a championship. Of the top teams cavs, Spurs, Warriors and rox - they've all recently won ships and I want so badly to join that group. Yeah- so sue me.

 

We have had plenty of excellent first quarters, and we lost some of them.

the thing is: We better have better fourth quarter!!!

You have to go to the Finals first.... and more than once.

Rockets can beat anybody elite but only 2 games in a 7 game series. They need more Defense, better execution when it matters.

 

True, but we missed a ton of open 3s. 3 more and we win, but we only did 5/30. Ugh.

Sooo.. How long until BSPN posts an article about Harden getting his 20th triple double in the Rockets' win against the Warriors??

 

Too many missed shots.

Missed open shots, forced bad shots, passing not crisp and not hitting the open man.

Some transition D wouldn't have hurt either, I know that's a huge strength for gsw but can't give that team freebies even when you forced a couple too. Starts with taking care of the ball and ends with hustle.

But this team will live and die with shooting and this is a die. How many missed dunks? Layups? And 3s...they were swarming and forcing them off a lot but every open 3 they had was a brick. Sensed some hesitance and I think it manifested in the rockets beating themselves. If they're letting it fly like they should, this is a 15 point win.

If the bridge comes to crossing in the playoffs, I'd really, really like to see better officiating. That was a pretty pathetic show all around. These two teams have a few good actors, a fair amount of disbelief and I don't want to see the series bogged down by hurt feelings. I want to see the two best offensive teams dropping nukes. Let the cavs and Clippers play lawyerball.
