Of course I was dissapointed we lost, but I coudn't have asked for much more! If you were there you may have seen me....during the halftime show I won tickets to the Lakers game in L.A.!!! Of course I was so excited that I didn't ask any obvious questions like, how many tickets do I get? How long will I be staying there? I'm afraid it may be only 1 ticket seeing how cheap the Rockets are known to be, but I definitely can't complain.

Now on the game, hmm what more can I say but horrible! We need to get Yao the ball whenever possible, and if we can't get it to him one way, we need to figure out another. Why did JVG take Yao out in the 4th quarter, put Boki in, then take Boki out and put in Moochie? What really drove me crazy were the turnovers! I was surprised that whenever Yao or Cato went out Braggs never came in, especially while Wright was lighting us up.

It was one of the worst played games I've seen by the Rockets, but the halftime show definitely made it worthwile.

Congrats Pugs -- I was hoping you would take the free throw. Were you the one who made the layup comment.

Ty Vengeance. Well I was going to take the free throw, but while I was thinking the announcer made a comment and didn't really give me a chance to answer so I figured I'd better go for one of the other prizes. Thank goodness the fans clapped when I pointed to that bag :)

I was the one who made the layup comment. At that point I didn't feel I could make the free throw, but I should have tried since all the good prizes were gone.

I really get tired of all this talk of the Rockets/Les being cheap. My guess is you get two tickets, and they are supplied by the airline. Let us know. Enjoy the trip. Boo the Lakers off the court for all of us.

Congrats on the tickets, but I think the big winner was the guy who won the noogie from Clutch. Can't understand why he kept running away.

I noticed the biggest cheers were when they were throwing free shirts to the crowd. I wondered if this is normal in any arena because the audible difference between the cheering for the actual game and the giveaway gift cheering was very noticeable. I know the game wasn't much to cheer for but the noise difference was actually embarrassing. The Rockets/Les maybe cheap but that is like the kettle calling the pot black.

On another note, the power dancers were pretty hot, I actually was hoping for alot of timeouts and breaks in the game (that and bringing some high powered binoculars). Don't suppose any mud wrestling or wet T-shirt contest are planned for future halftime shows.

Well, I feel a little better now that someone thinks I'm the big winner. :D

    puglsy,
I won a trip to watch the Rox on Orlando 2 years ago. They went all out. Two tickets to the game (about 12 rows up center court), 1 night at the Westin (an upgraded room), got an autographed team ball. Congrats on the shot.

Congratulations To the Fans that were picked to participate during halftime in "Let's Make a Deal" especially to the ones that won the trips!!! I was the guy that went first and won the team autographed ball. I wonder how much I can get for it in EBAY?? jk!...(Don't think I would sell it unless I get an offer I can't refuse!)... When I first went up there I chose the trip to SA but the damn Announcer made me pick a damn box anyways. I was thinking maybe to see what I could of won instead but when the cheerleader gave me the ball and a high five and the Announcer still had the SA trip in his hands I knew I had got screwed from that prize! The sad part is He knew I had chased the Trip to SA!!... I'm not complaining in anyway because I felt very lucky to have been chosen to participate in "Let's make a Deal" I'm also Very Happy to have the Ball signed by the whole team & coaches. Not that many people get to have a team autograph ball signed by Francis, Yoa, Mobley, Ewing...etc. I also enjoyed walking back stage In the Toyota Center and getting a sneak peak at the Lexus Suite, saw where the locker rooms were at, where the players parked their cars. We even saw Clutch (the Bear) changing & we where just inches away from the Grizzlies players when they were going in the locker room!...not to mention we got to step on the court and where inches away from Yoa and the Rockets when they reentered the floor to shoot around. Now that was just a great experience and would like to thank NICOLE, the Marketing Department and just the whole Rockets Organization for a great Experience!!!!
    THANK YOU HOUSTON ROCKETS!!!!
