Sorry but I could never put Kareem above Moses since Moses out played Kareem in the play-offs with Houston and again with Philly (And he out played him badley). Moses also snagged 3 season MVP's when both he and Kareem were in there primes.
Top Houston Centers of all time IMO: Hakeem Moses Big E Yao Ming Sampson That is five different centers that achieved some level of greatness while in Houston. Yes I know I am a little premature with Yao Ming but he did make the all star team as a rookie and is well on his way to a very dominating career.
Kareem has 6 MVPs (more than any other player), and 38,387 points (more than any other player. In fact Moses is a better rebounder and free throw shooter, but Kareem beats him in every other category.
I would put the Dream at the top of my list. And here is why, at the time when he played it was a big mans game, and he smoked every one of them on a nightly basis most of the time. Shaq has absolutely no competion except for Yao. In all reality, Shaq hasn't had much competion for much of his career. Except for when Hakeem was schooling his gigantic you no what? And let's face it when Russel, Jabbar and Wilt ruled the basketball world there wasn't nearly as much athleticism flying around or big men to compete with, then at the time when Hakeem played. ( hailed ) 1. Hakeem Olajuwon
My list varies on what the criteria is for ranking. But what I haven't seen mentioned is Bill Russell's 11 Championship Rings. Every old schooler I know picks B Russell every time. Dude's got more rings than fingers. Give'em some love.
Playing at the same time as Kareem: Wilt Chamberlain Wes Unseld Patrick Ewing Hakeem Olajuwon David Robinson Robert Parish Bob McAdoo Bob Lanier Yep, no real competition there.
And Hakeem played against. Kareem Patrick Ewing Tim Duncan David Robinson Alonzo Mourning Diekembe Mutumbo Rick Shmits Shaq Antonio Davis Robert Parish Monute Bol Sabonus Shawn Bradley I know some of these guys are suspect, but you have to hand it to the Dream during this era.
