I hate this trend in the NBA, has the league scheduled more back to back games? I don't remember the greats from the past taking games off. These players are being paid millions to play 40 minutes a night. It's not even as physical as it used to be. I know coaches and players goal is to win the title, but they are paid huge sums of money b/c individuals pay there own hard earned money to bring their family to the games and tv pays huge amounts to televise games. If it is too hard on these current players than reduce their salary and reduce the amount of games to 72.
I don't disagree, but if your top opponents are doing it, you've got to do it otherwise they will be fresher when you meet in the playoffs
Trevor and EJ would probably benefit from less minutes but I don't really think Harden needs it. Dude's a cardio god. And the pace with which he plays the game is very conducive to being able to play large minutes. I think him buidling momentum and getting hot is more important than saving 2 mins of playtime a night.
