Until there is solid proof that he has committed treason why is this even being talked about.

Because a lot of those on the left are still very butt hurt over losing the election so they enjoy accusing the president of treason and touch themselves to the notion of him being imprisoned or executed. You just kind of have to tune people like that out, they are permanently triggered due to not getting their way. Perhaps one of these days the butt hurt will subside and they can go back to being rational individuals (assuming they ever were to begin with)

I have already stated my opinions on all those topics ... except the wiretapping. I honestly haven't read a single thing on the wiretapping...simply because its nonsensical all around. Trump trolls, liberals rage. Nobody aint got time for that.

Healthcare plan: Obamacare 2.0. It will be a bigger disaster than Obamacare. He will lose the next election if this passes. Republicans will lose in masses in 2020.

Wall: I already stated multiple times. It pointless and a waste of time. Build a wall. Bail out GM. Squander money on failing pseudo green companies. Every president wastes tax payers money.

Immigration: I have no problem with halting refugees from any country. Preventing those who already had cards was BS. I also have no problem sending criminals back to mexico. And if he wants to send back illegals, then he's well within the law. I do not support amnesty.

Ah yes, the problem is that while you might have voted, you don't seem to understand how elections work.....Trump kicked your ass by 77 electoral votes. You also still don't control either the Senate or House because you got your ass kicked there too.

Perhaps a bit of education on how the US system of government works would help in future elections. It's possible that Democrats thought that California running up the vote count mattered in some way when it means next to nothing at all.

Agree with all except getting ass kicked in the house. It was 49.1 vs 48. Gerrymandering just made it look like a wide win. They still had less votes. Trump won the electoral college and he is the president fair and square. Democrats could have won the senate back if they would have ran a good candidate.

Well I say "getting ass kicked in the house" due to the fact that the expectations were that the Democrats would take back the house due to Trump running. When compared to expectations, things just went bad all around for Democrats.

I don't see that happening. There is only 1 of 9 GOP senators running in a non deep red state. Meanwhile 10 of 23 democrats are in Trump run states. That's not a lot to gain and a lot to lose.

The House is so gerrymandered that it would take a lot to win. Democrats had more overall votes in 2012 but ended up with 30 less seats than republicans.

We're mad at the Russians for exposing DNC corruption? I'm confused. Can somebody please explain to me why we're not discussing the actual issue?

Bernie was rigged against. The democratic primary process is a larger threat to our election process than Russian interference. That's the reason those crooks lost and they deserve to be behind bars.

He insulted women, veterans, the disabled, Mexicans, blacks etc. and he still won. Maybe his new healthcare plan will kill enough of his constituents and then they might see the stupidity of their vote, but they might still vote for him.

Except the rigging against Bernie didn't change the result of the primary. The result would have been the same. That is probably true of the general election as well.

Completely agree on both counts. The people that didn't like Hilary talked about her email server way more than what was going on with the DNC. The issue here is if a political conspired with a antagonizing foreign power to commit a major felony in the US. That's a big deal particularly when Putin is continuing his campaign to destabilize Eurasia.

What would have saved the democrats would have been an aggressive campaign to bring many voices to the forefront. It's crazy to watch the first debate and see how little attention was given to anyone other than Bernie or Hillary. I think there was a cultural acceptance that she was the best candidate to run which I agreed with at the time but you learn a lot as time goes on.

The question that I think is interesting is if Clinton would have won if Bernie would not have been her chief rival? He pushed her to the right in many voters' eyes so she ended up having to fight a war on both fronts. Trying to look more left for the fickle liberal side of the party and to the right for moderate swing voters. She did both poorly.

I see your point but you cannot get a meaningful dialog about this unless you can acknowledge that a conspiracy with the Russians to commit a major crime is a major issue. It's possible to have 2 major issues within the same realm. I think that many in the DNC agree with you and that's why you've seen a major shakeup.

So many problems in this country and politics are caused by both sides not willing to acknowledge certain truths. It's not about meeting someone halfway. It's about being comfortable enough with your point that you can acknowledge a different side and be ok with that. For instance, Hilary's email scandal is a big **** up. It was a big deal and any liberal that won't say that can't have a meaningful conversation with someone from the other side because it's such a huge denial that the fact that they can't see a truth keeps the other side from engaging beyond that. I thought it was a ****up but I accepted her apology. If this would have led to a security leak then I would not be willing to forgive but it didn't and I'm not convinced that maintaining and protecting her own server is less secure than government servers which have seen hacks. That is not a legal or ethical excuse. I'm just saying that it didn't bother me because it posed a danger. On the other side, there are GOP issues that have come up that bleed into shady ****.

I always thought that high school debate could be very silly in that you had to try to win no matter what was said in the round. It forces you to say things you don't agree with or things that could get you out of an argument when you know that it might be a little weaselly. THat's happened to modern political dialog and I think a ton of blame should go to television pundits but it is what it is. We need to be able to speak the same language again. It's a huge issue when a lot of the GOP sees democrats and the media as bigger opponents than the Russians. Historically, Putin is the closest thing we've seen to PreWW2 Hitler. He's gained a monopoly on the political process and banished other parties, gained control of the media to turn himself into a Russian Hero, riled Russian's into buying into that they need to get back to their former glory and invading other countries for their resources. Hitler took Austria, the Sudeten land and then the rest of czechoslovakia.

If there was some make believe scenario where I had to choose between an impeachment of Trump for collusion or a formidable stance toward Russia then I would pick the latter. Russia is the biggest threat to peace in Europe and when Europe goes, so does the world. You don't have to like democrats but please re-think the idea that Russia wants to be a friend. They don't care about better relations with the US. They don't need the US. They want more territory which will inevitable lead to war. The reason that makes me think Putin has something over trump is Trump's continued attacks on the EU and UN which is the number 1 reason that we haven't had world war 3. A united Europe without a bunch of tangled treaties keeps us out of war.

This is just flat, dead wrong.

    1) To the extent you can even compare things like "margin of victory" in a year-long primary campaign and a general election - they're not comparable in this instance.

    2) Trump's margin of victory was razor thin - any number of factors could have provided his final margin, like months and months of mostly bullshit negative email related coverage spurred on by Russians and their willing allies

I personally don't think Trump is compromised, but it's obvious that Putin strongly preferred Trump over Hillary. Hillary had a fairly hawkish view point toward Russia and would have made things very difficult for Putin. If Hillary started greatly increasing the military aid to the anti-Assad rebels like she planed, that would have forced Putin to either 1) watch the tide turn against Assad & his own approval rating in Russia plummet (Putin's current support in Russia is based on the image what even though they are currently suffering economically, he managed to revive Russia as a major power) or 2) Increase their military budget & support for Assad at the expense of burning through whatever reserve that's left remaining at an even faster rate. They can't keep this up for long ( today Russia just announced a 25.5% cut to their 2017 military budget)
