Well we're just gonna throw a big ol' agreement party here. Unless he develops a 3 ball and is able to take on the backup 4 role over the summer I think this is absolutely his peak on this team. agreed, agreed, agreed. I was kinda worried about him doing the dwight-esque nights off thing but it's played perfectly. also, he's ACTUALLY old and needs it lol...the guy is a huge saving grace on this squad right now.
At least Cleveland doing everything they can to win, veterans who can help while we are claiming to be all in but signing rookies who cannot help at all.
Dekker is ten times the player Casspi will ever be (with due respect to him). Casspi was on this team years ago and shot decently, but he was a horrible defender, offers little athleticism, and cannot create off the dribble. Although Dekker might not be quite the three-point shooter Casspi is, he has his nights where the three is going in and he provides much better defense, rebounding, fast break points, moving with and without the ball, etc. In short, he is simply a better basketball player.
Love that people fall in love with thse players that are nothing more than journeymen. Casspi is JAG. There is a reason he goes from team to team.
I thought Dekker's game has really matured now. Makes way less mistakes and is allowing the game to come to him and playing at good pace without forcing anything like before.
Haven't read the postings after 1st page. Here is a link to story. Sorry if duplicated. Note Stein says doctors freed him to perform basketball activities. http://www.clipsnation.com/2017/3/1...i-marc-stein-buyout-free-agent-pelicans-kings
