"This guy comes to work every single day on his game, on his body, twice, sometimes three times a day."

The fans may have a point. I'm sure coach Fizz meant well, but if you have crumbly knees, I'm not sure the best strategy for recovery is for him to work out that much.

I just want to thank Parsons for sabotaging the Grizz. That's one less bad matchup off our backs now we just have to worry about the Jazz int he playoffs.

Chandler being a true bro for the Rockets. He's a double agent and sabotaging our division rivals.

Need the extended version of that clip. Parsons runs after him but pulls a hamstring.

actually started here...he was having hamstring issues and back problems....not surprising that it fcked up his knees eventually.

Didn't the Grizz let him decide to play instead of shutting it down for the season? Not sure why teams keep letting him make the medical decisions. He did the same in Dallas and made things worse. He must have been compensating and wore out his other knee, which seems like a predictable situation. Bad decisions all around.

Chandler Parsons will undergo a meniscectomy to repair a partial tear of the medial meniscus in his left knee.

The surgery will be on Monday and it will end his season. After getting the big contract last summer, Parsons had one of the biggest letdowns in recent memory. This is also the third year he will head into the offseason with knee issues. Even with the Grizzlies being very careful with him, he still couldn't stay healthy. Hopefully, he'll be able to resume his offseason activities in a couple months.

The following is a medical update on Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons:

After further evaluation it has been determined that Parsons will undergo a meniscectomy to repair a partial tear of the medial meniscus in his left knee. The surgery will be performed on Monday, March 20.

Parsons is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
