Low post moves execution, rebounding and shot blocking should continue to be his biggest areas of work, but if he develops a jumper, he should be able to surpass Thon.
I admit I have my doubts about him, it's nice to see him making FT's, but more importantly than that, to see some fight in him. I thought he would struggle against Gobert, but he showed confidence against the bigger and taller man.
Personally, I'd love to see him take even more of the shots, because he is more productive offensively than most our streaky 3 pt shooters.
Harrell has a decent elbow jumper that will hopefully be deadly in the PNR next season. I just don't see much playing time for Harrell unless Nene gets injured unfortunately.
80% if you don't count the Utah game! He went 6 for 7 and 8 for 10 so it's definitely a positive sign. He has a great arc on his shot and surprised his overall percentage is low, but it has a higher chance of missing as well.
Awesome news! Love me some Clint. Thanks for the good find, OP! The real reason I am posting -- to be a math dick. My OCD (old c*** disease) compels me, may God forgive me. 67% = insanely great progress for Clint! .67% = me with my eyes closed.
No... Hayes was shorter and was a master of position and high post. That is Hayes was very strong and could not be moved when he had position or used his position to get defenders out of place while being able to pass incredibly from the high post.
Um.....I was agreeing with you? Harrell is too undersized to be playing at C. That's the only position he fits on this team. If only he can defends like Hayes.
I think we're still waiting for the Thong Maker trade to go down, should be coming sometime soon. Yule C. In the meantime, we have to make due with Clint Capela.
Honestly a center who can shoot 70% is more than enough. Now he just needs to work on growing another 2 to 3 inches and putting on about 30 to 40 pounds and he will be our future. Well he also needs to work on rebound prediction and defensive schemes too.
He is 22 years old. He is unlikely to gain anymore height. He needs more muscle, but 30-40 pounds will make him too heavy and slow him down.
