So that's your idea of culture, is it?

P.S. I said your mind is full of Star Trek and cartoons, so in response you post . . . a still from a cartoon. I was right.

I don't get it either. Look at the comments here about her . they look like they're coming from 13 year olds.

George W and his daddy GHWB are okay in my book.

It's juvenile at best. The only thing I like about it, is that Michelle Obama is insanely popular, and it is a way to get those who make the simple-minded comments about her physical appearance (which is actually pretty decent) look like exactly what they are.

It's quite easy to understand. A strong, powerful, attractive, highly intelligent black woman. It's such an affront to everything people like Bandwagoner, ipaman, general_whateverhisnameis, cml, RocketsLegend, etc are for that it makes them feel like this is the only way to put her down. It's really quite sad that this is what they stoop to.

Well, the left is guilty of a bit of inappropriate humor as well (I did NOT make this meme, but my juvenile self laughed):

    It's unnecessary.

Unfortunately, they'd feign outrage over something like the meme I posted above, yet they have no problem being disrespectful to someone like Michelle Obama. Sad!

Newsflash: probably not a good idea to use "r****ded"- that's not being PC, that's called being polite.

Not only is the poster you are defending being 100% obtuse and obstructionist here (how many people have never heard of The Predator) he is prone to fits of rage that rival your own slinging far worse insults than culturally r****ded.

Uh, many many adults have not heard of that.
You mix politics and cartoons, you get . . . Donald Trump.

So, what you're saying is that you feel it is acceptable to call someone else r****ded? Do you specifically know that this person does not suffer from a mental disability? What if you were to find out that he or she did?

Bush was a far better governor than Rick Perry and, as governor, worked with the Lege in a bipartisan fashion. What good feeling I might have for the guy comes from that period of his career. What happened to him as president is pretty freaky, to be honest. Quite a transformation in a lot of ways. He took loads of bad advice. Iraq destabilized the Middle East, killed hundreds of thousands, and one could say it continues today. A very bad, very expensive mistake. A war that had unintended consequences of great import. I posted against it here before it started.

Why talk about Bush? Compare President Bush to Mr. Trump. Bush looks like a towering genius in comparison. A moderate Republican able to work with the opposition, to a degree. Trump is pitiful in comparison. A failure after a month. An embarrassment to the country. A man looked at with bewilderment by our allies as they wonder what the next tweet will say. An absurd situation. A cabinet fumbling its way around, except for Mattis, fearful of saying the wrong thing and getting fired by Trump.

George W. Bush? He brought the nation together after 9/11 and led a great coalition into Afghanistan to crush our enemies and those supporting them. After that, he lost his way. Trump hasn't earned a comparison to the man.

I called him culturally r****ded not mentally r****ded. Mentally r****ded is fair game though because it directly addresses the substance of posts and a deduction of capability.

I will not argue with your logic here about Bush. He did make mistakes bit also managed to bring the country together when it mattered most early in his Presidency. That being said, my post was about Bush being better than his successor. If you are capable of using logic in any way whatsoever, you cannot grade Trump's entire Presidency in his what, six weeks in office???? Both Bush and Obama had a full eight years in which to grade them. trump has had a little over a month. I know you do not like Trump at all but seriously??? Give the man a little bit of time and actually see how things turn out first. The positives you gave about Bush are true. My argument was Bush was better than Obama. You may actually agree based on your positive post about Bush. Bush did bring us together and Obama did his best to tear us apart. As far as Trump goes, I actually still give Trump an "incomplete" grade in his young Presidency. I do not think you can accurately compare two two term Presidents to a guy who has a little over a month even if you do not like what he has done in that month.

Your opinion that GWB was a better President than Obama. This survey of historians would tend to differ (Obama ranked 12th, GWB 33rd). While differences of opinion can easily justify some difference in ranking... you have to admit there is a significant gap between the two. And while I have been more kind in my thoughts about GWB, I wouldn't put in among the top half of Presidents.

Trump? While it is early, there have been so many disconnects from truth with him, it sure doesn't look good.

I do not think historians are capable of accurately ranking Obama in fear of being called racist. His complete ineptitude and unrealistic rank on the list you provided are proof. Both Obama and Bush had some "disconnects with the truth", actually Obama had a ton of them. Bush had a few too to be fair but Obama had 8 full years of them. You still seem focused on just this first few weeks of Trump when some of the things you probably credit as Trump lies like the wiretapping have not actually been determined yet. People like you who are judging an entire Presidency on a little over a month are being ridiculous. Do all the lies Obama told not bother you or do you have selective outrage? If you respond with the question "What Obama lies?" then there is no hope for you.

Compared to what you have called most of the people here including me I find this new found sense of civility laughable.
