Trump's own head of Medicaid has come out against the Trump/republican ACA repeal plan... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...aid-official-exposing-rift-in-trump-team.html
These people are not looking for solutions, they do not care if millions of people have no insurance and have to use emergency room for medical services. That is real "Freedom".
Dayum, "he hates these Alaskas! Stay away from the Alaskas!" ... and anyone over 60 living pretty much anywhere. thx for posting that data.
it's only complicated because of politics... politics of the past 20 years accumulating to the point where no solution is viable.
Hell, Trump literally claimed that Mexico would agree to pay for The Wall on Day 2 of his presidency. Needless to say, Our President is out of touch with reality in many ways, more than even the average CF poster.
Well this part sucks. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...1-3-million-americans/?utm_term=.2aad1ed77936
Given the recent rapid rise in drug addiction in middle age white man in rural area, probably impact Trump supporters the most.
This bill is dead. Trump has no power over the senate and they will not pass it. They only have 9 of of 33 senators up for re-election in 2018 and the only one that isn't in a very GOP state is Nevada. They don't have much to fear until 2020.
Funny that Ryan was hailed as a republican policy wonk 7years ago when he unveiled a sociopathic alternative to Obamacare. Now he's a dumbass turd for not being sociopathic enough
I'm not sure about this. I think the far-right has a point here. You could make an argument that scrapping all of Obamacare and trying something new could be better - highly unlikely, but theoretically possible. But there's virtually no circumstance where the Ryan bill is better than the status-quo. In basically every area, it is worse. It's deficit-negative while covering fewer people, doing so horribly inefficiently, and while doing nothing to fix the individual insurance market issues. It doesn't nothing to bend the cost curve. So in terms of cost, access, and coverage, it fails on all merits. There's really no area where it improves things. He's basically knowingly doing this entirely for political reasons at the expense of the country.
Doctors oppose the Trump/republican ACA replacement. Hospitals oppose it. But guess which companies support it? Shock... large insurance companies... and not only do they want it passed quickly, but also their merger plans.
