Two championships, an MVP, and a Hall of Fame career... you're so right that would really be horrible.
double-double today....had one monsterous dunk..really threw it down..jam..man..he's good. But I don't really like him.
25, and 21 in first two... But I still think it'll be short lived... flash in the pan, over all bust compared to the hype a la Harry Minor from Miami
I'm convinced. The media coverage is annoying, sure, but I can't hold it against him. He says all the right things when interviewed, and that's about all I can ask for, without knowing what he's like in person. The kid's a triple-double threat every freakin' night just like Grant Hill. If he has a full career, he may top the all-time triple-double list.
LeBron's stats after 2 games: 23.0 points 9.0 rebounds 8.5 assists 2.5 steals Pretty impresive against two playoff teams. The most impresive thing to me is how relaxed his game is, he never forces anything and just plays with poise. Truly amazing for an 18 yr. old.
i have to admit, lebron is doing a swell job, but there's something about him.. i guess it's just because he doesn't look as friendly and cheerful as carmelo.
i thought he would be good in time. But these numbers in his first 2 games, and he is still just 18, i'm amazed. speechles. he will be great.
I would not want LeBron to fail. Even if he turns out to be a complete canker sore of a human being like Kobe (and I don't think he will), I don't want the overhyped stars to stumble because the economic health of the league depends on them (which is part of the reason why Kobe's actions this summer made me mad: guilt or innocence aside, the league does not need its biggest stars out there getting in a situation that smears the game). I am an NBA fan first. Except for the Jazz and anyone associated with the team, I root for the game.
