damn, he scored 25 in the first game of the season and 50 in the second...maybe its the japanese air...
He had an amazing game. Everytime I think of our current roster + Rashard Lewis I want to cry. I pray one day he'll want to return to his home town. He'd be such an ideal small forward for us. Alas, we'll probably never see him in a Rockets uniform.
I've been crying since that lock-out season. I knew he was going to be good, but not this good. This was the first time in my life where someone scored 50 without really forcing the issue. Most of his points came from within the flow of the game. Impressive.
Before anyone condemns the Rockets too much for not selecting Rashard Lewis, let's not discount the power of anger and hurt. It's very possible that he would not have had the same motivation in turning himself into such a great player so quickly had it not been for his painful experience on draft night.
Sure. Your current team would be Steve, Cuttino, Rashard, MoT and Cato, probably coached by Rudy. In addition, we would be over the cap. Our nickname would be Milwaukee west, and we would lose in the first or second round of the playoffs each year. Now would you people stop crying over spilt milk? We got lucky and ended up better off without Rashard Lewis. Enjoy what we have.
I know it seems strange but I doubt we would have had the #1 pick in the lottery with Rashard on our team 2 seasons ago. We probably would have finished higher or even had the 8 seed. Anyway, it's tough to say whether we would have Yao or not with Rashard. Personally, I'd rather have Yao.
but rashard would only make a difference after a few seasons of being drafted. so we might still have had a chance for yao ming.
its all true... R. Jefferson shareef a rahim rashard lewis or Eddie. poor eddie screws everything up...
