Just for the record, if the NBA controlled things there is no way in hell, they would favor a small market team with old foreign dudes with a star who never talks who play a "boring" defense oriented style versus the team with the very well known and visible super star from a large market who play a very exciting brand of basketball. If anything, the league is more likely to conspire to prop up the rockets of all teams. The rockets have one of the largest bandwagon fan base (1.3 billion people in China)
