I think Kizer is the fourth QB taken, to be honest. He had a bad combine. It hurt his stock.

I think it goes Trubisky, Watson, Mahomes, Kizer, with Kizer potentially going in the second round. You could see Watson jump Trubisky, though.

As much as I hate to say it, I would welcome Romo here with open arms.

This could be the move that catapults us as legit contenders, granted he stays healthy.

There's no chance Brock is the answer, and Savage looked decent in some stints but what our team needs is a competent quarterback who can lead the offense.

We need not waste JJ's prime on trash QB's. I say give Romo a shot.

P.S. could you imagine Romo winning a super bowl here in Houston. What a slap in the face to those cowboys fans :D

Would be very Texans to go into a bidding war with Elway for 2 years in a row, and the one you win is for Brock.

If they turn Savage into a pick, that'll be far and away his greatest contribution as a Texan. I get the unknown potential, and all, that sucks in fans desperate for a QB solution - but, honestly: he's been a QB since 2009 and he's thrown 849 passes total in that time - college and pro. He hasn't hit at least 100 passing attempts in a season since 2013 - that was four years ago.

Tom Savage might be a passable back-up QB; he will never, ever, ever be a frontline NFL starter. Dude is older than Osweiler - he turns 27 in a month.

If the Texans can land Romo and a prospect, they'll be 1,000 times better off. No one should be sad to see Tom Savage go.

Romo isn't COMING here. He's gonna go chase a ring like all those other fools in Cleveland with Lebron!

I agree with you, completely, to be honest. We'd be way better off.

Would Jones put the Texans on the " Do Not sign with" list? Who else would he have besides the Redskins?

Don't see how admitting Brock was a mistake is any worse than admitting you wasted a first round trade up on Paxton Lynch...

Cavs or Broncos can have him. :) It'll end the same way it did with Tony Romo the way it did for Andrew Bogut. Injury-prone trash leftovers from Dallas. Mehhhh...

I totally disagree. Signing Romo and drafting a QB in the first is what I want to see.

I'm a diehard Cowboy fan and Texans would be lucky to get Romo. He made mediocre receivers look like stars and got a lot of them paid.

    Laurant Robinson
    Terrence Williams (at times)
    Miles Austin

    ...to name a few.

He would do wonders with Jaelen Strong and Braxton Miller.

What kind of **** is this werder? Like the whole world found out that we made a mistake before we did or something. Why must we admit we made a mistake? I hate that guy so much. He can go eff himself.

Romo playing in sub freezing temps won't be a good idea. Come play in a dome stadium, top notch defense and weapons on offense.
