Ok in a nutshell he is a complete, obnoxious jackass, and a moron.

Here is just a snippet of this guys mentality. A REAL quote from this afternoon, that was quickly refuted by many co-workers including me:

"Besides Rice, UT Austin is the best all around academic school in the nation."

 Ummmmmm MIT, Stanford, Any Ivy League school, anyone?

He drives me nuts, yet I still have to hang out with him because for some freaking strange reason the dude knows how to land really hot chicks.

Isn't there a militia named the Nation of Texas? Maybe he's a member.

Since when has a guy labeled a moron for being able to score hot chicks? ;)

I like his thinking about Rice :D . Are you sure he didn't mean the state of Texas?

Regardless I am completely believe the quality of education is what you make of it. Going to a "better school" will help you in that you are surrounded by better quality students, from which you will clearly learn from, but ultimately you get out of your education what you put in.

Well that being said, the students at the more competitive schools most of the time put more into their high school education, and will probably do the same in college. As somebody who has been in charge of screening candidates for hire, I have noticed general trends in the quality of students that a school puts out. I have seen exceptional candidates from schools that are not known as top schools, but on average the "better schools" are better bets for better employees. Sorry to derail this thread.

I don't doubt that for a second. While I'm completely defensive of my alma mater, during my time there, I understood where the reputation came from. Of course, I could've saved myself from that by going to UT, which I got accepted to on more than one occasion. I wouldn't trade my college years, education and experience for the world (except for that class where they didn't teach me the meaning of GOBSMACKED! :D).

Rocketman95, it is clear to me that you approve of my posting style, otherwise you would not feel as compelled to mimic me every chance you get.

According to Eastern medicine, excessive masturbation can cause kidney disease which can lead to back pains. I don't know how true it is though.

    excessive anything can cause everything.

but his belief is due to his parents and teachers scaring him from touching himself. not some eastern medicine belief.

and i think you should be more specific on 'eastern medicine'.

Well, I remember I read it somewhere on the net and they were talking about 'eastern medicine'. I agree they have to be more specific. :)

That's the first word that popped into my head when I saw the 486 e-mails you sent to my profile at Match.com. Could you please explain to the rest of us why you are searching the male profiles?

    Metrosexual...I think not.

That's the first thing I thought as well. I'm glad I decided to scan before posting. I hate posting something only to find that someone already did so. :)
