I wonder if Yao could tell us what Camby's tatoos mean, if anyone saw the game yesterday they did look like chinese symbols.

They probably say "Yao Owns ME"

I thought Camby was saying that the only reason Yao took him in the preseason was because it was only preseason.

    What happened Camby? Same results.

I believe that those symbols are Chinese for "Fragile: Handle with Care"

Camby should add more Chinese tatoos... like "Yao, please don't dunk on me"

    Yao can read it.

Seriously, it's Chinese Character in Japanese, means "The group that works hard". Resolve should be hid inside, not for show. It's cheap if you ask me, well I guess different culture.

I don't understand why Camby said to Yao, " See you in regular season!" acting like he can elevate his game to next level in regular season. Stupid. Who the hell does he think he is?

    They can have multiple interpretations.

the first one, "mian" -- encouragement is pretty good, could also mean effort or striving or something like that.

the second one, "zhu" -- race is one interpretation, others could be like "clan" or "tribe" or "posse" or something like that.

then again, the characters may mean different in Japanese, I just gave the chinese meanings.

The first word, Yon, means courage, strenghth.

The second word zu, means more along the lines of tribes than race bt the meaning is similar in Chinese.

When used together, it means Camby's from courage tribe/ race, basically saying he's a some thing like he's a warrior.

Wonder if Camby actually knows what those tattoos stand for. I can just see him in some tattoo parlor somewhere with this big bearded body-pierced tattooed guy with a leather vest pulling some smoke on Camby about how those words stand for stud, love, the Man or something...

Then charging him like $10K for the 'tats.
