The Rocket's Roster is currently at 14 players, with 3 D-League players. None of which can add to this yrs. roster. I still think we need a big and another wing defender. Morey said this year's squad has been his best, since he has been here. Is this it??
I don't think this is it, but Capela is slowly starting to realize he has longer arms than everybody else. His rebounding is trending upward! It's giving me hope.. tonight is another test for him.
Is this like a "Paging cyberx" thread, but this time, one for basketballholic? Please oh mighty bballholic, let us pee ons know what is in that cranium of yours.
Mmm he's in Germany watching Brose... Darius Miller plays there. Physical SF and one of the best 3pt shooters in Euroleague. Just saying.
Not sure he's looking at Morris, he was already on the Vipers at least two times in the past...maybe he's looking at Melli (@basketballholic was suggesting this name) which is a 4/5...at least in Europe, i don't think he can play the 5 in the nba though.
So far the 09' team has been better bc they advanced to the 2nd round this team hasn't gone to the PO yet
Isn't it Darius Miller? Anyways anybody have an idea of how he may or may not be playing? Morey found Beverley in Germany maybe he can strike again with a solid role player
Probably waiting on the Chinese Basketball playoffs to be over. May have a player in mind from the final four roster?
Yep, Darius Miller. True, Melli is interesting, I didn't realize he has become a player to consider for the NBA. He's been rumoured to sign for Madrid this summer... He's always been a very good rebounder, spacing PF, and I see he's having a breakout season also at scoring & shooting. So 2 interesting names there to follow. But american players are normally more likely to leave a european team at mid season to march to the NBA, so they deal with their teams those NBA out clauses in their contracts seeking for that possibility. I've seen Miller's contract has one of those, and looking at his Twitter account he seems to be following the NBA closely.. Just pure speculation...
The '09 team was great fun to root for, but compared to this team they a.) were fatally flawed, led by Men of Glass; and b.) have had their story told already. They lost in seven to the Lakers. This team still has a chance.
