Shed a little tears right here. Seeing the man who became my hero in basketball 24 years ago and still dunking (and I, for being 177cm, still cant dunk, lol). Man, time sure flying fast.
it sure was a privilege watching live him during his rockets years. i got to see him post championship, a bit slower, but still got the movies. i think he developed breathing problems late in his career?
what a shame. also a shame that he had to play along side of the ball-hogging franchise. he deserved a better rockets ending than watching a dude dribble dribble dribble and crossing over nobody for 20 seconds.
Greatest 2 way big man ever. He was elite on both sides of the ball. That Kevin Johnson run down block was like a scene out of a cheetah chasing down a rabbit on a documentary or something. He was so quick and agile in his prime that it was scary.
A-fib. He got it under control. But, it remained monitored. Did not, to my knowledge, require an ablation.
