i know that the rockets cant ignore us on this one if we get enough people to sign it... this is a petition to get rid of the drums and bring back the "rockets lift-off" and championship era entrance song

Keep the drums...they're pretty sweet! I say get rid of the stupid skater-boy clown amateurs that really give the performance a cheesey or sleezy feel.

the rockets drum intro is the lamest in all fo the nba. You have to be at the arena it is not loud at all. Maybe for those who watch it on tv hear it but in the arena you cant hear it. It might be a little better if louder but the intro of years before is 100 time better

Please no techno "music". It's a basketball game, not a rave. Leave the X and the glowsticks at home...

The drums suck. The drummers are tools who belong at ACE Hardware.

The drummers are ok in the stands during the game for def-ense chants, but it is terrible for the opening. It doesn't get you pumped up like the old version used to. Chanting Houston - Rockets is so stupid for the starting lineups. PLEASE GET RID OF THE DRUMMERS FOR THE OPENING!!!

Does anyone have an mp3/wav of the old intro? :(

I've been searching everywhere and I've only found the old Bulls intro. (with Ray Clay)

    Anyone? Please? :)

The drums were not that annoying last night, but what did everyone think about the starting lineup introductions? They called Boki's name instead of Jim Jackson and he just kinda of walked around hoping they would call his name. They never did. :) Also, they seem to borrow the fireworks from the Texans. I thought it was done very well.
