It would be funny if the Russian ambassador recorded the conversation and some how it leaked out later.

I am increasingly convinced that Putin's whole angle was never to improve US-Russian relations with the "asset," a manipulable and possibly financially indebted Trump. I think they just want to create increasing divides within the U.S. and to the extent that this controversy helps put us in an angry dysfunctional crisis, they'll be happy.

So along those lines, yeah, I could see a well-timed release of the tapes through one of their affiliates, even Wikileaks.

Even if everyone of those advisers fall, it still won't get to Trump, all he has to do is claim I do not know. I do not believe Trump personally talked with the Russians about anything.

Oh, very much agree. And the Russians are already on top of the story... even using Trump speak like "witch hunt" and "fake news." Laughable that Trump supporters seem so willing to cozy up to the Russians...

To be fair to Russia their reps mostly have been saying "FALSE News". Which I do admit has a better ring to it.

Don't forget "McCarthyism"! I've seen that word thrown around this thread a few times by the usual suspects.

What's the old adage; the moment the Kremlin formally says something is when you can assume the opposite is true?

Several investigations and nothing, nada, zilch! If you don't move on then you are hysterical.

And before any of your flight or fight responses kick in, I don't care about the emails. What she did was wrong but I could care less if she did or didn't go to jail for it. I just didn't want another corrupt clinton in the whitehouse.

Sessions apparently met with 25+ ambassadors during the election. If you don't care about the rest of them then it's time to move on. If you don't, then yes you're hysterical.

Several investigations have already concluded and been released? Really? I hadn't heard about that. Or were you talking about all the Hillary investigations that ended up with nothing?

I know it's hard for you to follow but technically I addressed both.

What investigations are you referring to? Sessions recused himself so as to have no impact or say in the ongoing investigations. I'm honestly asking you what has been concluded, nothing been finalized that I'm aware of.

You have to forgive ipaman... he has had a bad week, er, month now that Trump is president and is still struggling with getting the spittle off his computer keyboard and screen.

Correct... the longer he is essentially neutered by this scandal, the better for the country.

fbi, cia, and several congressional committees, etc... have all looked at Russian hacking and interference over the last few months. Nothing, nada, zilch!

Do you want them to look again? Do you want new investigators to investigate previous investigators? The real truth is all you and the media want is to hold our country hostage because you lost an election. Shameful.

it's better if we are less secure, continued crumbling infrastructure, continued complicated unfair tax system, continued complicated messy healthcare system, etc...? you really are an anarchist who's incapable of working with anyone. you just want to watch our country burn down to the ground because your side lost.

Dude, in all seriousness, just take a deep breath. Neither you, nor President Trump, nor Kelly Anne, get to tell everybody when investigations are over. Several Congressional Committees have barely even started looking through evidence, okay? That's just the truth.

So unless you know something the FBI doesn't know, that McCain doesn't know, that Lindsey Graham doesn't know, that Darrel freaking Issa doesn't know, that GWB and several of his key advisors aren't seeing, you should probably do what we all have to do: chill, be patient, and let the investigations play out. We have no idea if we're at the beginning of the end or the end of the beginning, or somewhere in between, but nobody but the blindest partisans are claiming "it's over! move on!" It kind of sounds like Baghdad Bob or whatever. "Nothing to see here! The Americans are running!"

But if you're correct, and all these weird Russian coincidences are purely coincidences, you have NOTHING to worry about, right? RELAX.

LOL... the US Attorney General being recused from an investigation of Russian tampering of the US election and involvement with Trump and his administration is preventing government work on infrastructure, tax code, healthcare?

Seriously? I was wondering why Trump and the republicans in congress have failed to make any progress on these key issues. So you are blaming Sessions huh? I am not so certain Sessions is the correct cause of all this... but if so, even more reason for him to step down as Attorney General, no?
