    It's one thing to say it vs. demand it vs. actually taking action thatt shows empathy and understanding of reasons why of those that oppose you.

    He's done the first two before, but his actions thus far has been leading to the opposite direction. I'm still hopeful he can do more for unity, but his next steps are important.

    Excellent speech. Exactly what this country needed to hear. Inclusion, denouncing hate, unity, "big thinking", infrastructure spending and immigration reform.

    How about crimes committed by criminals who come from Neglectful, Inattentive, Poor Parents Legally Eligible? They can call it NIPPLE.

    History will judge the man by his actions. I want to see how he extends the olive branch, shows compassion, and earn respect. I wish us all good luck the next four years.

    The speech was a lot more rhetorical than we've heard previously - interesting. Trump had some punchy lines, but it wasn't a divisive speech in general. The recognitions of Maureen Scalia and the widow of Ryan Owens were moving moments.

    Good speech, considering the speaker. Whoever wrote it did a good job. Talk is cheap. Hopefully, he at least right-sizes this failure of a start.

    You should know by now to take everything that bigtexx says with a grain of salt. He enjoys attention and plays a persona online because he has too much time on his hands.

    I would not be surprised if he frequents a conservative forum pretending to be a hardcore liberal.

    I don't know where you're going with this? If getting stronger on illegal immigration can pervent some crimes then why even question it? Obviously he can't prevent every single crime that is going to be committed.
