Accepting or dismissing blame doesn't actually make the blame true. Also, why does there need to be blame at all. It's war, accident happens and it's not necessarily directly someone's fault. If you want there to be you can as far back as can stand. For example, is it the soldiers fault, is it his teams fault, is it the team leaders fault, the general, trump, clinton(for losing), obama, etc..., etc..., god's fault for creating imperfect humans who make mistakes, etc... , point is there can be blameless situations. Also when trump says "lost" isn't it true that he died because he was literally lost by his team during the mission? I read that somewhere but can't remember. In that context it sounds like they lost him as in they didn't know where he was as opposed to lost him as in dead. If yes, than how is it trumps faults that the soldier got lost or was lost during the mission. That doesn't make any damn sense.
That was stupid, I've said that many times. No way it's one persons fault for some crazy **** like that.
At some point enough people are going to get sick of Trump's ****. The pattern is always the same: Either "Not my fault" or "We won" (regardless of reality) And then followed up with "I have the best "XYZ". You can only play a shell game for so long.
I do not think it matters to his base of 30-40%, it is like China in the 60s, everything Mao says is treated like the gospel. I bet Trump wold love to have lived like Mao and literally be worshiped everywhere he goes.
Go ahead and review posts from Rocketslegend and Bobby and then ask yourself honestly if you think stupidity will not prevail.
In general, I agree. I don't really know who is to blame, or if no one is to blame and we may a good gamble that turned out poorly for one soldier. But, as the leader and to be 'presidential' he should be ready and even eager to accept responsibility for things that happen under his watch even if it's a bit unfair. It really would not have been very hard to say "I authorized the mission. And we lost Ryan."
This basically says all that needs to be said on the subject. Bottom line is Trump failed with the "buck stops here" part of being C-n-C. No way around it. He failed.
