I'm gonna miss it. I hope this isn't the end of the line, it was a great ride. I'll never forget all those April Fools pranks and such. I know one of the great people here will start something else up soon enough if this is truly the end. Also, if anyone forced this upon Clutch, be it the NBA or the Rockets organization, shame on them! This is where Rockets fans gather to enjoy themselves, and where many (including me) go to for half of their waking hours! Anyhow, I'm sure there's a good reason Clutch. You did a great job, as did all the moderators and such on the forums, in bringing Rockets fans together to have (mostly) civil conversations. This is the best fansite around for any team, and will be missed. I commend you guys on the great job.
This better be a trick...rather than a treat . I have been following this sight since it was clutchcity.net....Stupid Elie entry . I just re-registered a few years ago.....This sight is the best thing that ever happened to rocket fans. Should have posted more...tell me it isn't so....................................
umm..i don't think it's trick or treat in clutch's part, clutch is a serious person but he is kind of a weird and irresponsible person for shutting this huge site down all of a sudden! daymn if it's personal reasons he should pass it on to another person

if it's shutting down for good, it will be a truely sad day. i've lost track of the number of hours i've spent trawling thru threads. the inside info that i'd feed all my non rocket friends to make them jealous of the best bball bbs ANYWHERE. rockets staff visiting & making a positive contribution, giving us news (and first crack at employment). the caustic flaming of newbies that post stupid comments. the long essays and detailed analysis from vaious people about some facet of the game. recaps and reports, scooping the major media players on a regular basis. as an aside, i bet many people at the chron will be rueing the lost info & article ideas/quotes. keeping the rockets in houston. if it's a financial thing, could we petition/harrass tim into parting w a few grand of the Rox money for what is an awesome PR outlet for the rox? a truely sad day. and to think we finally stopped having all the !@#$% threads about the "new unis" peace.... any idea of what a rox fan in australia is to do now? no footy & no clutchcity - my life is on hold!
Damn. Nothing will EVER be this good. I couldnt believe it for a few seconds. Damn. It must be a $$ issue. Anybody know when the domain name expires ?? Could be worth alot of money for the next person to buy it .
Maybe its only down for one month (10/31 - 12/01) in that case its not that bad. Les hope thats all it is.
whoa... I guess this just happened... hopefully he'll let us know what is going on. I can understand not wanting to update the site all the time; this announcement was so sudden, though. I hope it's not legal trouble. Thanks in advance for all the hard work by Clutch and the admins... surely the bbs can survive or be moved to another location? I would hate to see all this disintegrate after all these years. That void would be hard to fill...

Thank you clutch. I would become "homeless" if this site is shutting down as it's the only place where I can go and share my opinions with fellow rocket fans. My friends are either non basketball fans or non rocket fans. I learnt a lot from you guys. Thank you very much.
