Nice guy off the court, but geez is he the epitome of our problems. Elite 3 point shooter, we have plenty. Other skills: literally nothing, he can't create, rebound, defend Basically Kyle Wiltjer with a bigger name and 18 mil salary for 4 years Good job, Morey. Rebounding and interior defense don't matter, I guess. Let's see how he guards Griffin, Aldridge, Draymond, Favors, Zbo, etc.
Whats the point of being a stretch "4" when he cant do anything a 4 can do like rebound and defend? Might as well put Troy Daniels at the 4. Everybody on here is quick to pull the chemistry trigger but what does chemistry matter when we're gonna lose in the first round regardless? Awful contract, Morey. Hes such a liability.
I hate one dimensional players like Anderson that all they can do is shoot. You can literally find stretch 4s anywhere, they are a dime a dozen. Yet, morey signed this slow stiff for 4 years/ $80 million. He's great when his shot is on, but he's useless when he's not making 3s.
Not sure why you say we have plenty of elite shooters when we have been the 26th best shooting team in the league for the last 2 months. Doesn't sound very elite to me.
Yeah, Anderson has been trash of late. I don't know if his garbage can injury is the culprit here or if he's really just gun shy but the dude is passing up more shots than a nun on bourbon street.
I get it... he can be a frustratingly streaky player but come on dude... no need to dig at Morey for putting together one of the best, most fun teams in the league. Good job, Morey. This season has been a ****ing blast.
To think ,for like 3 years all anyone on this board could talk about was how he'd be the perfect missing piece. I never wanted him, for the very reason this thread was started. Plus he's overpaid...
Like I always said he is a bench player masquerading as a starter. That goes for Capela too. These guys would be better off coming off the bench where they can face up against other bench units. Anderson is an overpay for a bench player
Everyone on the roster besides Capela and streaky Dekker have shown the ability to be consistent 3 point threats, teams are defending us better now as we run a Harden iso or pnr with everyone spotting up every play. Injuries too have made us go cold, even with D'Antoni our offense is stagnant.
Im an anderson fan. I think he will be huge for us in the playoffs. Obviously he had a bad game for us last night though
I mean, yes, they have shown that before, but not for 2 months, so it's not exactly something we should be counting on at the moment. Anderson's the only one hitting at a respectable clip right now (38% in 2017)
