Yeah this is what inspired me to factory reset my phone and change my Google password (which led to my thread in the Hangout), cuz after all this craziness I got some security alerts from Google. I already don't come on this site from my work browser (though that's definitely for the better). If I can't come here with my phone anymore I'll be just about done; via my cell is pretty much the only way I've accessed this site since the change.
This has been happening every few minutes today. I had to type this on my desktop because both my phone and tablet are useless for browsing the site at the moment.
Dang it, my beloved Clutchfans has been violated! I'm in need of an Extra-Strength Valium at the moment ... In @Clutch we trust!!! ....... ....... .......
I apologize you guys are dealing with this. I need to find an IPhone emulator and start to try to duplicate this issue, then start removing network after network until I can find what might be the problem. I will start tomorrow with this. It's very hard to diagnose this because not everyone is getting it, and ad networks generally try to remove this deceiving ads as soon as they appear. But it's clearly been going on for some time.
@Clutch No need to apologize #1, we appreciate everything you do to for us! I know you'll have things under control in no time! You never hear anything when things are running smoothly AND for that WE apologize! Go Rockets!!! Go Clutchfans!!! ....... ....... .......
I'm glad I saw your post, it's definitely the site unfortunately.. I contemplated doing a restore but knew it wasn't my phone/virus but was just getting frustrated.. Anyway it's definitely a random redirect/fake ad only on here like you said. I primarily use phone now too, since I'm on computer for work/school all the time as it is...
Definitely no worries! I know it's been happening for me over the last month or more. I'm using Chrome w/ Android. I can post links it redirects to but not sure if it'll help you since you're right on how they change. Regardless great site and work
Additional info to help troubleshooting: - Android 7.0 - chrome browser - on wireless home network - link to http://us.bulyi3qj.pw/kfai8safnvg/index.php?brand=Generic&model=Android... - to removed the part of the URL that has my device IP address as a query parameters.
Yes, I'm having issues with this site. Now my wife has left me cause she thinks I've been on the p*rn sites. I've been lurking on this site since 2000. This is where I get all of my news and knowledge, I desperately need this site fixed please. But truly, I really enjoy this site and thank you for all you do.
It's been this way for me for weeks. If I even click on 1 thread from my phone I get the hijack error. Unless I'm on my laptop at home, which is very rare, or my work computer I am not visiting this site any longer. Not worth the headache trying to navigate the forum from my phone with this issue that continues to happen on every visit. Android 6.0.1 Chrome Wireless Home Network or Wireless at Work
I'm having the same issue on my tablet(Samsung Galaxy A using Chrome on Android) Sometimes I can't even get thru a page of a thread without it popping up. I think it has something to do with one of the ads that load that thing, not sure since I'm not a programmer/web developer. Its definitely mobile only, it never happens on my desktop...and it never happens on any other site, just here
I have Android 7.0 on my phone and this only happens on my chrome app. I downloaded Mozilla for the mean time. I don't like Mozilla mobile but website works great here. I'm hoping to be able to use Chrome again for Clutchfans. I'll keep checking back.
Happened on my android Opera browser. Does not happen on my old Lumia 920 using the IE browser. I guess there are only 3-4 people in the world using this browser so no one takes the time to make any malicious crap for it. I've since joined twitter and now get my updates from there. I don't want to have anymore issues.
