Knicks Waiving Brandon Jennings

Just looked up his shooting percentages from these past few years, holy crap he's horrible. When 41.8 fg% is your best season, you're f***ed.

Yet there will be someone on here who thinks we should pick him up because that's what you do when someone gets waived. *we shouldnt btw*

He'd have probably been an all-star, had he spent 2-3 years in college

 

Andray Blatche, JJ Hickson, Jason Thompson. The only ones we need to focus on IMO

 

he said he wants to play on a contender. Not sit behind Harden and Lou.

 

Yes or his lack of discipline and focus would have been exposed and he would have been drafted lower in the draft and he would already be out of the league.

With Brandon Jennings, a lot of the problem is Brandon Jennings.

He has had almost a decade to work on his shot, his shot selection and defense. He has not improved at all. In fact he has regressed.

Had he been drafted by the Spurs would he have developed differently? Possibly, but I doubt it. Jennings was "Hollywood" before he was even drafted.

 

He's the East version of Lawson. Club life. Hoes. Etc.

 

With that said, he and O'Quin have been the best Knicks this season, this move makes no sense unless Phil really believes in Baker

 

No coincidence they both went to Oak Hill. I met Lawson while he was at UNC and he already had 2 phones on him and showed up to their team meeting late

Before getting Lou, this may have been a worthwhile option. Not ideal, but he would've filled that need..
