Only sign players that want to be here. No thanks to this clown that choice was Dallas.

Let's give a second chance to Andray Blatche. No one has ever questioned his talent. Yes he is a headcase but plays the role we need. He's more than likely ready to play in the NBA again --> making him COACHABLE plus we have a real coach now that get the best out of him. Spot minutes --> wouldn't hurt to have him in an open roster spot on long, cheap and noncommittal contact ( easy to move or dump ). AB is 30 years old now so if it going to happen for him now is the time. He would be playing for a future / lifestyle. I think he would shine here because he is a fit with us.

    Ah. Okay.

So the 9x number must come from the prorated veteran's minimum number (~$478k), not the prorated MLE number (~$100k). A team can go over the cap to sign veteran minimum players, so the the $478k would be the maximum a team over cap could offer to buyout FA.

I don't think it is about money with Bogut. He doesn't care.

I agree. I posted my thinking on this situation somewhere here. I think Bogut's looking for the title contender with the least required adjustment by him.
