I know since all these bad news have happened to EG, it sure has turned alot of heads in the other direction, and myself a bit too, but don't quit on him yet...A whole city has been waiting for this kid to blossom into superstardom, but after two dissapointed seasons and now the convictions, many fans are starting to hate him or want to trade him already. I just feel he's been overpressured..I mean since he was 19 he's been getting the pressure and wasn't able to perform up to his expectations..you know it and he knows it, so hopefully van gundy believes in him (as he says) and keeps him focused on the game and have a breakout year..unlike the years under rudy where he had the players play more freely...

If he can't handle the pressure, he shouldn't have come into the NBA early my friend. He still had 3 full years of college eligibility left that he could have used to blossom and expand as a person and a player. I'm not about to feel sorry for him. So he made a wrong decision. He's still a professional, and he's still making obscene amounts of money. I say sac up and deal with the pressure. Otherwise I will give up on him.

Yea he did put himself in this situation, but he was still young at the time..everyone doesn't always make the right decision when they're young, and his decision was to enter the draft early and possible be the number one pick or stay in college...well anyways I hope he is at a pivotal stage in his life and accepts his responsibility, and I've seen a few signs of steps when he went to get help..

no i didnt say rudy t caused his problems, just some people like to be free to grow and some people need the discipline to get the best of themselves, and rudy's system is more free play

Well he was project to go #1 in a lot of mock drafts and stuff. You don't think he knows that the #1 next 2 years gonna be yao and Lebron. He made a decision to came out where his stock was high enough for him to go #1, obviously it didn't work out..... yet

Convictions? What convictions? Was he 'convicted' found guilty today (Thursday) in mar1juana case? Or do you mean 'convictions' in the court of public opinion
