Sometimes you sign a player to keep him off another team's roster. Just sayin...

I suggest to see houston vs jazz, memphis and spurs result before buying him. Because he is not a good shooter, just for backup is ok. I hope he can buy back michael beasley

When Portions called Draymond Green a scrub

    "Who is that irrelevant guy?"

He would do that the the Warriors if he joined us.
Bogut wouldn't play every game I think he would be our 4th situational center

nene and bogut would swap nights i reckon.

capela and harrells minutes should not be touched.

but if nene or capela go down we are super boned. need some sort of inusrance. or start developing chinanu. i'm guessing we're giving him the capela treatment and won't bring him up until the last 10 games or so.

very possible when the C position isn't a real option offensively. same goes for all the other centers in the league right now minus a few that can actually play on their own.

Does our offense need the center to be a pick and roll threat though?

The harden/dantoni offense is different than the warriors offense. I question how much it would hurt us if the center cant roll to the basket.

Nene and capela can both roll to the basket

I sure hope whoever we bringing in, does not take away playing time from Montrez Harrell...I just love the way he plays. Undersized, but he plays hard and a great finisher at the rim.

yeah the C position needs to be a pick and roll threat. That's basically houston's 2nd weapon next to our 3 pters. And both are very much read and react which is important for our bigs to understand in different situations. Every one of our bigs are capable pick and roll players

I was all in on Tyson Chandler to fit perfectly with this system, but I'm not sold how Bogut could fit here. Even on restricted minutes, it's just looks like an odd fit.
I'd rather give a shot to Lady Sanders and try to lour a wing as well then use it all on Bogut.

That is a realistic comment but we have learned that we could do some unrealistic trades, we have done the Brewer for Lou.

    I don't like Bogut as a person.
I like Bogut as an enforcer type for this team.
I would sign Bogut so we can match up against the Warriors and Spurs come playoff time.
    Make it happen Morey.

    If not, Larry Sanders.

I hope that we don't go after him, but someone much less profile and doesn't need much PT.

    DeJuan Blair or Bargnani?
