I think that's the trade if Doc is right.

Maori has one big factor working in his favor: The Knicks, as an organization, are stupid. Not Kings-level stupid, but close.

    I would definitely target O'Quinn.

4mil/yr is chump change breh. What is you talking about? His per 36 numbers are good. Id be okay with KJ and a 2nd, throwing in Ennis just to clear a roster spot so we can sign a waived vet later.

    For a first? No

    For KJ + Ennis + a 2nd? Where do I sign?

Don't get why the Knicks would do that.

for a 2nd round pick and salvage their disappointing season with a dunk show from kj...

    also, they can tank away!

I don't know if there's a logical method to Phil's actions since he got there.

He's getting paid less than Kyle Singler lol.

I think he could be a solid add. He's not really a 3 point sniper, but he's a versatile big. Just hasn't found a system to thrive in.

I mentioned Kyle O'Quinn in the random trade forum this morning. Definitely looked at his Per 48 stats. If Morey waits on it till the last minute, I think it will be KJ + 2nd round pick.

Kyle o'quin is the type of player who James would make look a lot better than he really is.

I don't doubt James could Make him a 15ppg scorer and if he is as good a rebounder and shot blocker as his metrics state,

Your looking at a guy who at 4m locked up for 3 more years is a bargain and it gives you another asset in not only himself but it gives you the option to trade Capela in a larger package if need be.

I would trade Kj and a 2nd for him and then see what I can get for Harrell and the other 2nd.

Maybe a pj tucker if possible

Just go for it this year.

James is in the short list of best player in the NBA, he's 27. Get him talent and go to war. You never know he might be able to pull it off.

    Harden/bev
    Gordon/Lou
    Ariza/tucker
    Anderson/dekker
    Capela/o'Quinn/nene

That team might be able to beat golden state.

Not really any draft picks to upgrade your team but a lot of those contacts come off the books after next season.

If I'm houston I would do it.

Lets go all in you only get players like harden in his prime once every 20-30 years.

    Time to shine.

If James likes it let's make t happen.

I wonder if Harrell and a 2nd would get a 1st that you could trade for O'Quinn?

O' Quinn is nice, but not at the expense of Harrell or Capela. KJ, 1 2nd round pick, Nanu is as far as I would go as a last resort.

Kyle O'Quinn is basically Chuck Hayes with a beard. Enough said.

Better than Joakim Noah for sure, but O'Quinn is a backup who is solid, but not excellent in rebounding and rim protection. Need a starter caliber C.
