With the injury issues that Bev and Gordon seem to be constantly having, we had to find another productive guard to help man the backcourt. Before this trade, if either Bev or Gordon couldn't play in the playoffs, then our season would have been over.

Yes, we still could use some help at a couple of other positions. But, we basically picked up a quality player for a late first rounder. What's not to like?

He is going to get WIDE OPEN LOOKS here. Hell opposing defenses are force to leave Ego open bunch of times and he's a deadeye from long range.

Good move but I hope it's not the last. We still need some size and depth up front.

    Damn good pickup by Morey.

I can't help but laugh at our insiders being wrong again.

Now I'm a little worried. If Clutchfans.net overwhelmingly loves it, might be a disaster. However, Clutchfans.net overwhelmingly wanted Dekker to start and he scored 30+.

TBF if Brewer was traded out for a stale packet of Doritos clutchfans would have been happy to throw a late first in to get the deal done

Actually he said today that we were talking to the Lakers, and they are looking to move both Nick Young and
Lou Williams. He specifically said Lou's asking price must include a 1sr rounder.

So you're wrong here. He simply posted it in his Nick Young thread, because he could confirm we discussed him with Lakers.

Lakers know what they're doing. Getting rid of one of their killer players for one of the worst guys on this team is gonna make them tank this season.

The key thing about Brewer is although he's not good at bball he tries on defense and has a positive attitude. This means he can influence the guys around him in a good way instead of being a cancer and dragging everyone down like 99% of bad players in the league. With the Lakers rebuilding its important to have high character guys on the roster rather than pieces of trash who will harm the development of young guys. Its a genius move by the Lakers most people just dont see it that way.

All I gotta say is, just because the rockets are targeting somone doesn't mean it always works out. He can only reveal what info he knows.
