Lou played for the Hawks before. LA is tanking now and unconventional is because Morey just fleeced a guy 5 minutes into his job

 

This was an amazing trade by Daryl. Man, Lou has been one of the best scorers in the league this year (top 10 in points per minute at a .610 TS%. Absurdity.

 

As for the trade, interesting we still have KJ, the one with at least some potential due to age. Seems like this was a gift to us.

 

When you're getting rid of Brewer who can't do anything well... **** yes.

How is this a lateral move? Going from Brewer to Lou Williams is a lateral move? LoL! The big can come in the offseason, so many of them are gonna be free agents. Why do you want to do a trade and lose assets for somebody you can get 6 mos from now,

 

This seems like kind of a weird fit at first, but when you consider that Gordon was really initiating the offense as the PG when Harden and Beverley where on the bench with Brewer at the 2, this actually makes sense. Williams and Gordon may struggle a little defensively, but that is going to be a damn tough 2nd unit for any team to guard. It also gives them an insane amount of flexibility with small ball lineup and provides the one more deadly shooter they needed without adding a ton of cap space in return.

I was hoping for Gallo, but this is a damn fine consolation prize. I'd be surprised if they made any more significant deals, but I'd love to see them swap some of the young guys and assets for a veteran big man.

 

He's tied with Gordon for 6th man of the year you dumbass.
Brewer is terrible, and our first round pick doesn't meant **** for where we will be drafting anyways.
Lou is more of a guarantee than our first round pick.

 

This has to be a precursor to another move unless they plan to give KJ minutes.
