    If we go with a 3-guard lineup, we might as well go 4-guard and make Harden play PF on defense. He honestly plays our very best post defense.

    Offensively, I do get it. We get another player we can give the ball to that can score and yes he's insurance for EG. I was hoping for Wilson though. I haven't watched that much of Lou admittedly, I'll be interested.

    No he is good for the system that's not what I meant. The minutes we are replacing are a guy who plays 2/3 and we are filling them with a small guard.

    Sick move DM! Lou is an amazing and efficient scorer. This team can't have enough. He will provide a bit more rest for Harden and Gordon too, allowing them to hopefully return to early season efficiency.

    Don't forget Lou is signed for a ridiculous $7M next year! He has enormous value as the cap rises again. Can fetch a solid return if we need the space in the offseason or next deadline. Maybe a 1st right back

    Another ball handler and scorer. This will certainly make us far more potent offensively and maybe push Harden to the 3 for some stretches.

    Is everyone really this excited about Lou FREAKING Williams? Lou Williams doesn't play defense and doesn’t rebound. This is a lateral move plus we lost a first round pick again. I'm cool with shooting ppl out of the gym but we still need some size up front

    That's a nice aspect of this- if we need to clear salary for a big FA, Lou Williams will net us, rather than cost us something.

    With Bev and Ego's injury history, I think we will have enough minutes to go around. I hope not, but reality sucks sometimes. At the very least, it's never bad to have too many weapons.

    Thanks for understanding my point. With that said, it means Harden's playing some 3 more. Basically a 3-guard lineup all capable of getting their own.

    I do not think we're too worried about how we matchup with the other teams 1-3, as they are with us?
